Since being banded I have not brought anything out of the ordinary.I made my own soups at first and processed foods that I would normally eat with my family. If there has been things that I know wouldn't go down for me I just give them a miss.I choose not to buy succulent steak as I would die with envy so I just don't put myself through that. You do not need to make this a huge issue what you need as you will manage if you take things easy and think befor you eat.LOL Good luck

Quick go and pick up your 7 year old...dam heavy hey.Well with the band I have lost approw that much in the last 12 months with little effort on my part. When I pick my little fella up who is also 7 I think the band is amazing and know in myself I couldn't have done it without this wonderful tool.I just wish I had lost the weight of his twin sister too.LOL A month ago my Mum had the band as she could see how easy it has been for me and successful.Good luck if you get it done soon your youngest will never know you to be over weight as my youngest doesn't remember what I us to look like and Iam sure the 7 year olds will also forget...thank goodness All the Best -

Many thanks Kel I shall go in search for Fee.My Mum had her band done today and she had her tummy tuck years ago so once she looses the weight she will look great. Are you still sore now or okay.I admire you getting it done as it is something I really want and it might be next year 2007 if Howard still gives us our tax rebate for having kids.HA HA -

Hey Kellie I saw your post on the tummy tuck..ouch however Iam interested if you managed to have it done on medicare? As Iam in Perth and need one after twin preganacy and 3 c-sections it's a bit of a mess let alone weight lose.To have it done privately with health insurance I shall still be out of pocket appro $4500 there abouts. What are your thoughts if you don't mind.Iam pleased you have done so well. Many thanks Annette -

Yes you can do this, you will do this as if you can't do it now they might stop you from having your op.Iam sure you don't want that to happen.Good luck it will all be worth it in the end.Keep remembering that you have done far harder things in life than this.Iam sure pre payment is to make sure they have their money as the don't do these things for nothing he he he.Wish they did. All the very best stay focused and be true to yourself as the only person you will fail is yourself and you need to be to put yourself first and start to get use to putting your long term goals into action.Be kind , be postive , be happy and be smart to yourself -

Nice to hear you have all done so well .I will also be a year by the end of the month and at present am 154 pounds with another 14 pounds to go.I have to say I have found this to be very easy for me as I have not taken up any more exercise and basiclly just reduced the food. The last few pounds will be the hardest and I think I will now need to pull my finger out and start to exercise.Look forward to what can be achieved in the next 12 months. My mums so impressed that she is going in on Friday for her band. -
Now don't pelt me with your #*#*#**#* but we all want our men is our lives to be honest with us.Most of us all have had our men saying along the same lines and we all have felt like crap there after. However I moan when my man gets into bed and stinks.Like I want to be close to him when he is like that let along attracted to him so as much as it hurts they think different to us and I think they believe what they might say makes a difference / might even motivated us.Like hell . But they are men .I have lost almost all my weight and when were wern't having sex that often I always believed and was lead to believe it was my weight which was causing it NOT the case I think it was just an EXCUSE THAT THEY CAN'T DO IT LIKE THEY DID WHEN THEY WERE YOUNGER. We are going into our peaks when sadly they start to loose it.We all need to try to blame others.Be kind to you fella as there maybe more to it than the weight issue .Good luck and Iam sure he does love you more than he knows and will even more in the future.

It is sooooo much better once you have been banded. The effect are almost instant.Great.I have never been a big drinker but I do like to have one or two which now feels like 4 or 5 .I take loads of ice if Iam out because with an empty stomach you get tipsy really quick. So enjoy and watch the consumption as you could find you stop losing if you have too often.Enjoy

That is fantastic..you have done really well. The band helped but you have done it and will continue to do so.Keep up the great work. -
Peppermint water that will sort out wind pain when you awaken and walk.I found the pain to be not to bad..I remeber spitting it at my girlfriend reminding her that she didn't tell me that it was going to hurt.Silly fool I was but we laughed so the pain wasn't too bad.It is more of a discomfort and a bit sore like you have banged yourself into the corner of a table hard. That would best dicribe the pain to my best ability. So you will be right do as you are told and not over do things and walk walk walk for some reason it seems to work.Good luck

You men a pretty good at laying back and enjoying the ride.HA HA HA To be honest it will be a great ride full of excitment but as above make sure you know the ride you are getting onto. This is still a diet in a way ,the one you can't have a day off from. You will get results and they are achievable but there is a price and everyone pays a different price.Mine is I haven't been able to eat red meat for over 12 months which is fine 99% of the time but I have to say Iam over fish and chicken.Iam from an Indian family and am no longer able to consume rice which is a real pain as this is usually the basis of every meal.Saying that I love being slimmer,I love looking 10 years younger,I love having loads of energy.I love feeling what I think most people feel like....never worrying about how I look anymore.Being banded is great but do fing out as much as you can with preference speeking to someone first hand.Best of luck with your choices.
