So I thought I had it all down yesterday, I had 60g protein, 64 oz water, took all my vitamins, b12, calcit...but today I've been sooo nauseas all day long. I drank a light muscle milk, ate a jello, and just had a few bites of cream of wheat. Everytime I sip water I feel like I'm going to throw up. Its the tiniest sips too. I have no fever. Throughout the night I woke up in a large amount of pain in my left side where one of my incisions is. It felt like someone was stabbing me and twisting the blade. Please help. Does these feelings go away?

That's good to know. I tried popsicles and they work awesome. -

Has anyone had trouble with thin liquids? I absolutley love water and 1% milk but everytime I sip even the smallest sip, I feel pain. I'm on my 3rd day out so I'm wondering if it is just because my stomach is still brand new. However, I can handle cream of wheat and tomato soup well. -
This is excellent to read. I'm so happy to see that other people are doing so well and it gives me so much hope for myself and my mother.

I'm Ashley (22) and 2 days out from surgery. I've lost 5 pounds since I left yesterday. What unique about my journey is I did it with my mother Lynne, who I've convinced to make an account on here. We did it the same day with the same surgeon. I'm having trouble wrapping my brain around when my first bowel movement should be. I feel gurggling, but is that my empty old belly or what? -
Do you feel wicked thirsty at all? I don't know if that's because I drank so much a day before surgery and I drink half as much now after surgery. I don't want to be peeing all night but I don't want dry mouth during the night either.

Ohhhhhhhhhh ya, I know what you mean now. For a while I was thinking I was going to have an obstruction. Glad that's not the case. -

Today is my first day home, and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. This morning I was in so much pain that I didn't think I could make 60+ grams of protein or 64oz of fluids but before I knew it I had it all down. I just took my last CalCit, and I have one more vitamin to take. It's not easy, I'm in a lot of pain (lots of hiccups), but the liquid percoset certainly helps. My buyers remorse lasted for 2 hours. I'll consider myself lucky. They say it gets better everyday so I wonder how I'll feel tomorrow.
