It depends on your insurance. All of them are different. Mines was 6 months. It worked out well because it gives you time to decide if it's really what you want to do. My date is April 23rd.

I took your advice from earlier this week to just keep drinking fluids. I'm not starving anymore. When I feel real hungry I'll have a Protein shake and in between that sugar free flavored Water, broth or just water. Thanks.. Oh and I'm down 8 pounds. I haven't lost any weight in years. Yay!!! -
I agree with you panda. We are all here to help one another. That's what I thought this was about.

I know how you feel. I'm on my 8th day. Some days are better than others. I'm struggling too. Just think if we get through this we will be fine. Once you have the surgery our stomachs won't be as big and we will get full faster. The main thing is we're cleansing and shrinking our liver so that the surgery will be easier. Just know you are not alone. Good luck! -

Congrats. I like that everyone is not so serious all the time because we all need laughs. Lol. I woke up this morning so emotional. I was actually tearing up . I don't know why. But I figured this time next week I'll be having my surgery and i guess reality has set in. Thanks for the laughs. -
Congrats mine is April 23rd. I am so emotional right now. I'm assuming it's my nerves. I know I'll be fine. I know it's normal to be so emotional and scared.

Yes they won't provide a lot of liquid but it will help your dry mouth in between sips of liquid. Good luck.

When I got up this morning I got real emotional and I was tearing up. I guess it hit me that next week this time I will be having my surgery. I'm really not a cryer I'm usually the strong one. Lol. Yes I'll probably be crazy by then.

The liquid diet isn't too bad. I have my good and bad days. I'm only on day 7 and I have 7 more to go. I think the problem is I'm used to snacking. I've come too far to mess up now.

I also only told a select few. I didn't want the negativity. I have thought about this for the last two years. The only way I would change my mind is if my doctors told me too. Thank god I have a good support system. I wish you well and don't let them discourage you. If something happened to you they would be the same ones to say she should've lost weight. -
You all should get sugar free Popsicles. They can quench your thirst when you have dry mouth.
