I was a heavy smoker prior to my surgery(April, 23) . I stopped smoking the day before my surgery. So far I am smoke free. If I'm trying to get healthy that's another thing I needed to do. Also the smoking can cause ulcers.

Wow I'm not alone. I only go every 2-3 days too. It's strange because before surgery I went 2-3 times a day. -

I was a heavy smoker before my surgery. My surgeon told me to quit. He said he knows it's not easy but if I can't quit there should be no smoking the day before surgery. My surgery was April 23, 2012. The great thing is I have been smoke free since April 22, 2012.

Liz the sleep is the bet sleep ever. You won't even remember. My shoe size hasn't changed but they do feel too big. Maybe my feet are getting skinny. -

This is a time to do research and to mentally prepare yourself for this surgery. It is not easy. The surgery isn't a quick fix. It's still hard work. But when the big day comes you will say it was worth the wait. Good luck. -

My surgery was April 23rd. I didn't have any complications from surgery either. However I broke out in a rash all over and had a terrible cold and fever. I went in on a Monday and came home on Wednesday. That's only because I had a fever. I'd say after the first week I felt really good. My energy was back and I started exercising. I didn't even need pain medication when I got home.

I feel so bad for you. I don't knowwhat you are going through but I would go to another doctor. You have been suffering too long. I know this doesn't happen to many people but this is terrible. I wish you well. I wish there was something I could do to help. I'll be praying for you. -

I take biotin but I put it under my tongue. -
I know you're glad you're home. You will be able to rest better. Try walking as much as you can. Also try laying on your left side that seemed to help me.
