Wow this is a busy week. I wish all of you successful surgeries and a speedy recovery. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Your energy level will go up and down for a few weeks. It will get better.

You look great. I love the new short hairdo. It really shows off your face. I want to cut my hair but I'm being a chicken. Lol.

Everyone responds to pain differently. Are you up and walking around? It really does help. It might be painful at first but walk a little bit at a time. Hope you feel better soon.

Wow everyone is doing great. I am 10 weeks post op. Starting weight: 297 Current weight: 250 Total lost: 47 I am losing slowly but never in my life have I lost this much weight. I am so glad I had the surgery. No regrets here. I couldn't have done this on my own. The most I've lost on my own is 30 pounds. I actually can't fit 90% of my clothes. Thank god I had some too small stuff in my attic so I really didn't have to go and buy anything. I bought a few pieces just because. Lol.

That is great. I have been trying on my clothes and I can't fit anything. My surgery was April 23rd and I'm don 45 pounds. I didn't think my size would change much. Well I was in the store the other day and I saw a shirt I wanted. I used to wear a 26/28. I knew that would be too big so I tried on the 22/24. Well that was too big too. I had to get the 18/20. Also my pants size was a size 24. Now I have to get a size 20. I was so surprised and excited.

That's great that you're doing a lot of research. Be sure to ask plenty of questions so that you understand everything. There is never a stupid question. Good luck.

Lately I've been walking outside and I love it. For the next few days here in New Jersey it's supposed to be between 98 and 100 degrees. I will be in the house walking with Leslie Sansone. Lol.

My doctor didn't allow me to take any supplements until the second week after surgery. Your doctor might think differently so I would ask him.

That's great you want to make things better for your wife. You should just help her along. Make sure she is walking. It will really help her pain and gas.
