I had gastric bypass September 12, 2011...I have done great with it...I'm down 100 pounds! My doctor said no alcohol for the first year, but now that it is summer, I really want a glass of wine. Anyone out there have any suggestions? Did you really wait a year??? Thanks

What kind of surgery did you all have and how long has it been for you? I had gastric bypass on Sept 12, 2011 DVD I am down 95 pounds. I feel great! I just thought I'd see if anyone on here was close by me. I am in Smithfield Nc, about 40 min east of Raleigh.

What Vitamins Are You Taking?

I have used the optisourse from Walgreens too and they taste really good. Also my dr recommends Bariatric Fusion. I Order them online but I can buy them at my dr office when I am there for a follow up appt. -
I was told 1-2 nights. I stayed 2 nights and I am glad I did.

It has been 7 and a half months and I have lost 95 pounds. The weight loss has slowed down and I get hungry now where before I didn't seem to feel hungry. I am scared I may start gaining back but I am determined to not go backwards!!! -

I had RNY on Sept 12, 2011 and I have lost 95 pounds. The weight loss has slowed downed quite a bit and I feel hungry more than I have before. I am so scared I am going to be one of the ones who starts gaining back. I am determined to keep it off! -
What Protein Shakes Do You Use?

My favorite is GNC Amplified. It goes cost more but I think it is worth it. It mixes up better and not gritty. My favorite flavor is cookies and cream and then banana cream is my second choice.
