Slider foods are like crackers, pretzels, tortilla chips and such. They're called sliders because they slide fight through your pouch without giving you that full feeling. Its best to avoid them Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk

Playing basketball again Not shopping in the plus sizes for the first time since 3rd grade Being referred to as just plain "sexy" instead of "big sexy" lol Being able to lay on someone (cuddle fashion) without feeling like I'm squishing them! Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk -
I think I saw on discovery health channel where there have been people that have weighed 600 lbs where they did a 3 step weight loss surgery process due to them being what they called super morbidly obese. These patients had to be moved out of their homes by the fire dept and walls taken down to get them out of their homes. So there is some validity to what is being said about the sleeve sometimes being done as a precursor to the bypass. I just praise the Lord that I didn't have to go that route. Also the program said that there are only a limited amount of bariatric surgeons that will do surgery on the super morbidly obese...food for thought. Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk

Really close to being 8 weeks post op and I used to LOVE eggs. Scrambled boiled fried deviled sunny side up however I could get 'em. Now the thought and taste of eggs makes me nauseous. I tried to taste some again this morning and yuk! Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk

Constipation After Surgery
Panda replied to crystalcdbailey's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I take stool softeners and if I get no relief from those I was informed by the Bariatric nurse to use fleet enema. Gross but relief within 5 mins. Bought some in bulk from costco. Actually for me constipation is the worst part of this surgery. Which is a small thing. I'll take a lil constipation in exchange for weight loss everyday of the week! Missing My Bubble Baths
Panda replied to romellewhite's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was told once the surgery tape falls off...and at my one week check up the ones that was left he pulled off. I only own continued to wash my belly with the antibacterial surgical scrub that they gave me to wash with the day before surgery. I also used the scrub on my face! Took all of my zits away!!! Lol. Wish I had some more Sent from my Nexus S 4G using RNYTalk -
