Spanks or compression shirts are a great idea. As you know most of us get flabby and its embarrassing (to me anyways). To feel more comfortable about myself I use a brand called Insta Slim. THEY ARE GREAT! I've been using them for a couple years. They are much cheaper than Spanx and work better than regular compression shirts (in my opinion). Attached is the link to them on Amazon. If you choose to try them- I'd recommend going one size below their recommendation. They are difficult to get on at first. May need help getting it on. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_5?url=search-alias%3Dfashion&field-keywords=insta%20slim&sprefix=insta%2Cfashion%2C278

I too am struggling. I had my sleeve surgery on 9/11/12. I weighed around 340 ish. I lost down to about 280 within the first six months or so. I am currently down to 265 the lowest I've been since the surgery. It's been a major struggle. Here's a few things I have done wrong 1- did not make exercising a priority. I'm finally making it somewhat a priority (almost three years later) 2- I didn't eat like I'm supposed to. Yes, I started out great. Followed all the steps for 6 months or so but slowly fell back into the old habits. Candy, carbs, increased portion size... List goes on. 3- low self esteem and feeling of failure by comparing myself to others who are acquaintances that are having success well beyond what I've done through this journey. As stated by one of the comments above, I'm fairly confident I have a food addiction and use food in all the wrong ways. Im going to take y'all's advice and find some of the books mentioned and see about getting help. Being in Arkansas, I've noticed there are not many resources for help with this issue. My major fear is that I've done the damage. That I've stretched out my sleeve due to the constant over eating. :-(

Hey everyone. I had the sleeve done in sept of 2012. I started out at 340 and am down to 278. While I'm thankful that I've lost 62 pounds, I'm very discouraged that I didn't lose the 120 I was told id lose. . I got down to 260 and gained about 20 pounds back. Yes it was due to diet and lack if exercise. I feel as though my food intake is not restricted enough. I can eat 3 or so cups of food at a time. I try to eat 1,000 calories but I always end up going over. I also don't exercise regularly. Maybe 3 times every other week. I have since started a high protein very low carb diet. Hope that helps. Any advice on how to start losing. And gaining ground again?

Thank you Wynnie! These are very helpful. I need to start gaining that "tight" feeling again and I think the best way is, like you said, eat less. Also I never knew acid in the stomach could make you feel hungry... Maybe that's some of the problem!!! THANK YOU :-) James.
