Last week 250.4 This week 246.0 -
Same thing. I'm 3 weeks and 3 days post op and the most discomfort is on my left side. My incision site still hurts, but that is to be expected since I was an open revision.

Hi all, I'm having issues. I 'm supposed to be getting more protein than I think I am. I'm 9 days post op. even with 2 shakes that will give me 34 gms. Of protein I don't understand how I will ever get in the amount I need to meet the requirement needed. A serving of tuna has 10 gms of protein, but the serving size on the can says 1 can. There is no loving way I can get this much in. 60-70 grams is a lot and I'm worried that I'm not going to get in what I need. Anyone have any ideas?

I was an open surgery so I had staples to deal with. I quickly discovered that I became lactose intolerant, but that's ok. I came home on Thursday, and went to my granddaughters dance recital the next night. -
I'd anyone have "dumping" type issues after their RNY? I have not cheated on this diet at all and I have to make a run for it probably 5 times A day. I can't hardly leave the house because when there is an urge, it is immediate. I'm 2 weeks post op and very discouraged. I talked to my Dr's nurse and she told me not to worry about it, but she's not the one with the issue!

I ordered them too, and they are the best!

Yogurt is a good source of protein, though. I buy the sugar free, fat free which is like 80 calories.
-
I started losing before surgery as they had me do a liver reduction diet for 2 weeks prior. It consisted of protein drinks and sugar free popsicles, sugar free jello, and broth along with 64 ounces of water.
-
I know. I had a coordinator that coudn't seem to give me the lover reduction diet sheet. She kept sending me the wrong one. DUH!! Finally I got the correct one, and my surgeon is great, but some of his staff members are a little bit lacking.
-
I guess you could try it and see. Be sure to let us know how that turns out.

Syntrax C'herry is the most tolerable I have found so far. It tastes like fruit punch.

That's a little bit scary. I hope they don't forget anything else.

Do you all have to take calcium with these or are they good to go? Also, how many do you take per day?
-
Sorry I'm off topic here, but I need some serious help. I'm taking Bariatric Fusion chewable vitamins and they are awful. I don't have to take additional calcium with it, but boy, they are awful. Suggestions, anyone?
