Try the Syyntrax Nectar shakes. They are the best! I like the twisted cherry. Tastes very much like fruit punch.

Thank you both for sharing that info with me. I was averaging around 500 and my weight loss had stopped. My trainer at the gym was concerned I wasn't taking in enough calories and putting myself into starvation mode. I just didn't want to be eating way more than I should.

Has anyone taken Immodium ? I have been in the bathroom around 10 times, but I don't know whether it would be wise to take it or not. Anyone?

I don't have any of your symptoms, however I did have many years ago. I had a partial hysterectomy at the age of 23 due to heavy periods. It was caused by a break down in the uterine wall. I have an occasional skipped beat, but I'm almost 58 years old, too. I am losing very slowly now. It's frustrating! I'm averaging about 3 pounds a week. I was 283 pre protein diet, 275 day of surgery, 260 one week after surgery and as of today, I weigh 239 and I am 7 weeks out. I hope that helps some.

If I were you, I would put in a call to your Dr's office. There is no sense in you suffering when you don't have to. I'm a registered nurse, and my advice is to call. You're not dying, like you said, but when you're suffering, sometimes you wish you were.

Thanks! That's what I'm doing.

I'm going to a place called SNAP FITNESS. It's a 24 hour place. Working with a trainer I won't be late, but if I wanted to go at 2 am I could.
-
I would call your Dr. and see what he/she says. All of them say something different. I had to wait for 2 weeks, but I had an open surgery, and I have my own pooil.

Would anyone mind to share what they eat on a day to day basis? It seems I eat the same things all the time to get my protein in. Thanks all!

Thank you Erin for sharing with me. I need to go to Trader Joes!

hi all. I'm 3 weeks and 1 day post op. I am still having discomfort in my abdomen. Has anyone else had this for this long?
-
Hi mignonsmom! I'm doing pretty good. I'm not losing very fast, though. I have to be honest in that I really haven't been doing any exercising other than just every day stuff, but tomorrow I go to the gym and meet with a trainer. Was your previous surgery a gastroplasty?

Ok, today is my anniversary and my hubby wants to take me to a steak house. Have any of you tried steak?
-
Jen, I have breakfast every morning with a cup of coffee. Breakfast is either a protein pancake with SF syrup or if I'm constipated I'll eat UNCLE SAM high fiber cereal.

If it doesn't start feeling a lot better soon, I would call your doctor.
