Gallbladder issues after sleeve or gastric bypass

My doctor said its the lower fat diet that can lead to gall bladder problems, but recommends keeping it if at all possible. She said that guar gum as fiber helps protect the gall bladder -

I had reflux before surgery, but it was under control with Prilosec (omeprazole). It got worse after surgery and I had to increase my dose and make adjustments to how I take my other medications. Still tweaking things to find out what works best. I'm currently 18 days post surgery. -
