I can have 4 protein shakes every four hours and lean meat and veggies -

My pre op diet is a two week liquid diet , I start tomorrow . Protein shakes 4 times daily and lean meat and veggies . -

What was your A1c before surgery?

I start my 2 week liquid diet tomorrow , so I'm hoping it will come down before surgery . I'm also on 2 meds now.

Thanks Cindy, I'm having my surgery on 10/22/13 and my A1c was 11 like one month ago so I'm just concerned that they may not do the surgery.
