I didnt lose any weight before my pre op diet. I think I actually gained afew. On my 4th day of clear liquids and doing ok. First 2 days were the hardest. Only 1 more day then surgery wed .

I also have a husband and 3 kids I cook for. I try and fill up on jello and broth when they r eating. I just tell myself that I need to do this to prevent any complications during surgery and that keeps me sane -

Im starting day 3 of liquid diet. The first 2 days my stomach growled non stop. Hoping today is better. 3 more days until surgery. Everyone hang in there. We can do it!!! -

My dr said 5 day pre op liquid diet. But a friend of mines just had surgery and did a 5 day liquid diet and after surgery told her that her liver hadnt shrunk enough. They did the surgery but it did cause her more pain. Im thinking of 1 full week liquids pre op -

My office was pretty flexible with appointments bit I dont think they had evening hours. Maybe if u tell your new job u have medical appointments they will let u have time off. The appointments dont last more than an hour and theres really not too many of them -
