Tired of posr opt liquid diet
marmello replied to Cmstewart's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hated the liquid diet. Still cant stand the sight of jello. Dont worry your almost there -
Good luck everyone but I know you'll b fine. I think we have gotten so used to trying diets and failing that when we hit a stall we think its happening all over again. But this time is different. U will lose the weight. Just have faith and do what drs and nut tell u and you will see.

I had ended up in emergency twice for dehydration. Thats the period I noticed the scale wasnt moving. When I upped my water and getting my protein in I noticed the scale moving in the right direction

Thats normal. A lot of people hit a stall. I hit mine at about 2 1/2 weeks and it picked up again about a week or 2 later. Make sure your drinking your water

has anyone had to go back into surgery after sleeve
marmello posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I was sleeved april 9. Everything was perfect with The sleeve. i started having pain one day and vomitting non stop. Now on may 15 i have to go back in since they found cysts on my ovaries. One is 10cm and cant wait. They cant do it lap. because im still healing so they have to go old school and do bikini cut. Has anyone had to go back into surgery so quick? and did everthing work out ok? -
Here I am almost 3 weeks post op and spent sat night and all day yesterday in emergency. Sleeve is ok but was vomiting profusely and extreme pain. Cat scan found 2 cysts on my ovaries 12cm big. Gonna have to go back in for surgery and scared outta my mind. haven't been able to.get my liquids or protein in.

Thanks. They admitted me in hospital. Was very dehydrated and still vomiting. Hopefully I can go home today but still waiting

Not getting any help from obgyn. Going to see surgeon in the morning. Hopefully he can help manage the pain. I have had no protein in about a week. And keep getting dehydrated.

Oh thank u. I didnt know too much about the surgery. I see my obgyn today. They got me on dilaudid which seems to b helping more then vicodin

Stage 2....How can you follow that meal plan?!?
marmello replied to lilbitahoney's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I just started stage 2 and I feel the same way. I couldnt wait to eat when I was on shakes but now that I can I dred it. Nothing appeals to me or my new stomach -
Oh good. They never told me anything like that. I was worried. Thanks for the input

If theres one thing I cant stand is a snobby ass nurse who thinks shes better than everyone else. Ive been a nurse for 9 years and love the cnas I work with. I even get down and dirty with them and change attends and wash my patients. Cnas are one of the hardest workers in the medical field. A lot of times they know more about their patients then the nurses. A degree does not make u better than anyone. Its a degree thats it
