I miss food as well but notice the thought of eating makes my stomach turn. I force myself everyday and I'd love to just feel normal again. I can literally go days without eating and not care but I felt weakness creep in and started to take shakes again but I gag when I try to eat....it's a process for me...smh. Still getting use to a few things..

How far out are you? I'm also sleeved on 4/23 and you gave some helpful info but right now I haven't been cleared for lettuce but can't wait to wrap everything in lettuce instead of wraps or bread. Great idea. That's going to be extremely helpful and still yummy.

I was having a hard time gettin in my Protein because I'm one of the people that liked my previous shake before surgery and after, couldn't drink it without gagging. I began to research and found a Protein Isolate shake "purest premium protein" it taste great and the price was just as acceptable. The flavor is vanilla Creme and mixes into Water best. If u like vanilla shakes, u will love this stuff... A seller for me was I hated having 3 shakes a day to get 60 grams of protein. Now I make one shake with 12 oz of water and 2 scoops and I'm set for the day. I can freeze it and eat it with a spoon or because Its 98% lactose free I can even leave it sitting out and it doesn't sour. I can take all day with my 1 shake and meet my minimum goal....I love it!! Yup I had both the sleeve and hernia repair. I had my drain in for 2weeks but it should have only had it for 1 week. U don't want it!!!

I'm not sure if that's the case but I could never drink the whole shake in one sitting. One serving is 30 grams which is one scoop in 6 oz of Water but I drink double that for the entire day. I do have to stop myself and save some for later most times just cuz I wanna space it out...but good too in case that is the case...lol.

Nope, not grainy at all. Its perfectly smooth. Taste like a melting vanilla shake. Definitely try it. I remember that stage, congrats to u!! Just remember one thing on day 2 and 3, after the first month it won't be so bad, soon u will love your decision again!!! Lol

Yup....Wal-Mart for about $20. I literally ready every review and the only 2 negative were because they don't like the flavor. But I love the flavor and even the smell of it!! Already finished 6oz another 6 by the end of the day and I'm goin to feel great!

Same surgery date and been stalled about 2 weeks since the 3rd week and now goin into my 5th week, I started meeting my Protein and today, another 2 lbs down. Good luck to u..
