Hey guys just left my 1st post op doc visit. 8# down after just 6 days. HW 298 SW 292 CW 284. Had Surgery 10/23. 14# altogether!! -
Father God please bless Ms. Yvette today as she undergoes WLS. We pray that her discomfort is minimal and that you grant her speedy and complete healing. In Christ name I pray. AMEN!

I was sleeved on Wednesday too. The first full day home (Thursday) was very hard getting protein in but I managed to get about 25g. Yesterday 35g today almost 50g. Gotta work harder on fluid. -

I was sleeved on Wednesday the 23rd and im going back to work on the 30 (1 week). I actually feel good enough to go back on Monday, but because my post op is on Tuesday I figure I'd just wait till that is over. -

Day 3 post op and feeling great! Even walked fot 20mins. Will try to walk again later. -

Sleeved on Wednesday as well. Doing ok. Not enough fluids maybe about 50oz. I had a protein shake though. 30gm of protein. About half of what supposed to have per day, but ill take it. Keep having stomach spasms like 1-3 per hour. Sooo painful. -

I was sleeved yesterday as well. Home now. No pain really besides gas. Clear liquids and protein shakes until my dr appointment on Monday. -

Just had surgery yesterday. Feeling pretty good. Minimal pain, but super gassy. Waiting to get my leak test. If everything looks good, home today! -

Why do pre and post-op diets differ so much?

Well my surgery is on the 23rd (7days woo hoo) I saw a nutritionist for the first time yesterday. She put me on a 1200 cal diet per day and suggested replacement of one meal with a protein shake. But said that as long as I keep my carbs low and stay at a 1200 Cal diet I would be fine. As for post op 1-2 weeks liquids 1-2 week puree 1-2 weeks and after 4 weeks food as tolerated but still keeping carbs at 0 to minimal. -
