You are amazing and an inspiration! I pray I have your strength and your success! What an surreal feeling to be able to put those clothes on!! When you stop shrinking I say take your hub's credit card and go wild you deserve it momma! (don't say I said that tho) hehe -
If your going at your work out hard your probably not having very much muscle loss. (which is great) I say keep up your goals your seem to be doing things right! 33 pounds is huge! Don't forget to switch it up every once in awhile. That's the advice I was given so in 5 wks I'll move on to a new routine. Idk if that's proper but I'm willing to give it a try

Caffeine addict
sophiepants replied to AshleyMidwife's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yep just talked to my NUT Thursday and told her I'd been drinking a cup of coffee a day for a week and she was fine with it. Said she'd never mess with a persons coffee. YES!! -
I was sleeved August 21st. SW on surgery date 249, CW as of 3 days ago 206. A loss of 43 pounds 8 wks out. Your loss seems great to me. I keep reminding myself that this will keep working as long as I follow the plan. I walk almost daily 2 miles with my 2 year old and dog. The little one keeps me moving now that I can get up and do as he wants . I just added the Slim in 6 beach body video 3 times a wk. Building up to 5 days a wk. I eat between 500 and 800 calories a day, Protein 70-90, carbs 35-45. I was just told Thursday by my NUT to up my carbs on my work out days to 60. I'm a little afraid to do that tho. Your doing great keep working that sleeve.

I quit a month before my surgery. Surgery was August 21st. I smoked for 16 years at least. Quitting once for a year when I found out I was pregnant back in 2010. I was also told about the skin not bouncing back fully if your a smoker. So I dropped that habit quick. Been feeling great ever since.....oh and my husband quit a few days before me to support me oh our new journey .....mmmmm He is however outta state which is why I believe we are still married after quitting at the same time HA Its hard I know but you can do it!! You'll be so happy you did after your surgery and you can do things like walk long distances and maybe even run later! Good luck on your journey

Yes and no. My husband I've been with for 13 years also. Married 12 of those last Monday But he had said he was afraid I would get skinny and try to find a better looking younger man. AS IF! lordy I don't wanna go through all that again hehe I got him just where I want him (training wise) smirk.... I feel ya girl he's outta state right now and has been since 4 days after surgery. So big surprise waiting for him 43 pounds gone in these last 8 wks!I've got 3 more weeks to lose btw!! SURPISE lol When I first brought up having VSG he was all for it, then changed his mind then was all for it again. Then told me a few weeks before my surgery he was afraid I'd leave him for a younger man. It's funny how they think. But I told him you don't have anything to worry about as long as you keep on loven me the way you've been. I think they are afraid in some way about us having issues during the surgery.
