In 2011 I started the process through a seminar. I had tried everything but nothing ever helped. let's face it, i'm an addict :rolleyes: I went to the seminar with my parents for moral support....I regret that decision lol. Anyway, I originally went there having already deciding to go with the sleeve but decided to go with the lapband. I wish I had gone with my first instinct.

After that surgery, things went really well. I lost 50 lbs in 2 months. My family all went on a cruise and I felt good. I cheated a little but figured, hey you're on vacation. When I got back a few weeks later I found out I had some issues and had to have a full hysterectomy. However, there were complications and I ended up staying in the hospital for a week.

After I broke free, my lapband never worked the same way again. For the next 2 years I would have it tightened and then it would be too tight so I had I had to loosen it. Finally, my doctor said we need to go to the sleeve. 1 month later, I had the surgery. Everything went well and here I am!

Best thing I ever did for myself! :D
