    Kids meal and wine

I love Red Lobster, I had my food funeral there, twice. Lol I've never left spending less than 35.00 on myself, I would love to say that I actually went there and spent less than 10.00 on a meal, seams like somthing out of this world, that would go along with the other things that I greatly look forward to after being sleeved. Congrats on your success and much more to come.

  10. I feel fantastic! My suggestion is to make the break from carbs during the preop phase and avoid them at all costs. Once you reintroduce the carbs those old cravings that got us in this mess will return as well. Also, find a good Protein shake that you like and drink it religiously. Keep moving!Got it!! Thanks so much I look forward to being where you are. Great job!!
  11. Does anyone that's been sleeved find themselves consuming protein only? If so, what results are you seeing?

  17. 20 pounds in less than a month is fantastic!!! You will certainly hit your 40 pound goal by month3, just keep doing what your doing. Great job!!!
  18. Omg!!! That's fantastic, can you please tell me what you think the key to your success is? Any tips would be great, I will be sleeved on May 9th. Thank you! :-) I think the biggest things for me has been (1) knowing my limitations, and (2) sticking to my numbers. I've learned that while some people are fine eating small amounts of "unhealthy" foods now and then, I am not. I was an emotional over-eater/binge eater, and that is just too easy to slip back into. I have to be strict with myself and avoid altogether my trigger foods. Knowing yourself is SO important. It's a total reprogramming. Secondly, sticking to my numbers involves tracking my food. I count everything on myfitnesspal. My username is livvsmum if you want to friend me. I make all my food logs viewable. I try my best to stick to no more than 40g of carbs, at least 65-70g of Protein, and at least 10 8-oz glasses of Water per day. When I do that consistently, I see a loss. I also think exercise is super important, but that will be down the road a bit for you :-) Good luck to you, and trust me....if I can do it and be successful, anyone can!!! lol This is great thank you so much for responding back, I know that when I see the pounds coming off that will be even more motivation for me to do the right things, limit carbs, get in protein and drink plenty of water is something that I will certainly make priority, thanks!!!! And again fantastic job!!!

    Protien only?

12 pounds is fantastic, great job!!
  20. I'm on day 5 of a 2 week clear liquid diet, I'm allergic to aspartame so I have to make pop sickles with Splenda and kool-aid I cant do jello due to also having allergies to high volumes of gelatin, I fell off the wagon twice already within these past 5 days. I'm limited on the go to items that would normally make this diet tolerable, how did you guys do? Did it affect the outcome of your surgery?
  21. It is hard but so worth it, I've been overweight my entire 38 years on this earth and I can honestly say that I've never looked forward to being restricted on foods, come on sleeve day!!!! Lol. This indeed will get better.
  22. Congrats!!! 8 pounds lost is great, and yes we got this and our time to shine is coming up fast!!!
  23. No protein drinks allowed for me, I have slipped a couple of times but I did aim for low carb foods. I'm glad to be at a point where my stomach will not hold much. This will help. Lol
  24. 30 pounds is still a great deal it would take me over a year to lose that. Congrats!!
  25. Omg!!! That's fantastic, can you please tell me what you think the key to your success is? Any tips would be great, I will be sleeved on May 9th.
