  1. Coffee allowed from day 1 and it does count towards daily fluid here.

    Highlights and waiting post sleeve

Try the root touch up kits, you can get at supermarket/drug store. Match to your base color. It comes with a little brush, and you just use the color along your part and the front of your hairline around your face (only what is showing). It's really easy and takes about 20 mins start to finish, you can do it before you get in the shower for the day.

    $600 Bariatric Program Fee

No fees at all for mine. Groups etc included.
  4. Honestly? My suggestion is to get another surgeon -- or at least a second opinion on the issue. Aside from certain specific health concerns, the choice of surgery is normally left to the patient. ETA: The reason he is pushing it is possibly just that he really likes the bypass and feels it is the superior surgery for whatever his reasons may be. Or in his experience, outcomes have been better for his bypass patients? Who knows.

    High Heels....

I can say that I went from a 7.5 to an 8.5 when I gained the weight. I would guess that the feet will shrink along with you for sure

    Rosie odonnell

I agree everyone is different, plus she looks great and probably feels great too

    Rosie odonnell

She did mention that doctors have recommended that she lose 40 more pounds

    MiniMizer Ring with Sleeve

So, I googled it and it looks a bit like a rubber zip tie that is placed around the stomach or pouch in the case of bypass. Apparently it is adjustable with notches for different sizes. I had not heard of it before. hmmm....
  10. Sounds like you are doing great so far, I am glad to hear it! Keep us updated
  11. I am pre-sleeve but my doc gave me Tramadol for back pain in anticipation of the surgery. It is non-narcotic.
  12. That makes sense! I am actuailly "displaced" out of state from Dallas at this time myself.
  13. Just curious about this, your profile says you are in MS but it seems like you have been to this facility in Dallas more than once? Do you live in Dallas area?

    The Easy Way Out

I made the mistake of clicking on another thread on that board and reading it ... I'll just say I'm not too worried about what that bunch has to say about, well, anything really. I say who cares!
  15. You have to answer truthfully, if you don't they can tell -- the test has this built in (essentially they ask some questions several different ways). It's nothing to worry about, just be honest.

    I'm stalled and sooooo tired!

Maybe ask for a referral to a sleep doctor? It sounds like maybe you aren't getting the rest you need during the night. They can test you to see what is going on during your sleep. Good luck and I hope you find some answers soon.
  18. I haven't tried this brand, but I did find that one certain brand made me nauseated each and every time I tried it, regardless of flavor or time of day. In my case it was muscle milk but there was just something about it that didn't agree with me. I can drink other brands fine with no problems. Maybe this one just isn't for you.
  19. By the way I happen to like the super sheer nude hose, just passing along what I heard LOL
  20. Legs should be bare nowadays for cocktail. Either way I would for sure skip the nude hose 100%, I just read an article about this and they said the leg should be hose-free and never wear nude hose because it is aging and outdated. You're gonna look great!!
  21. How wonderful and I envy your commitment to clean foods and eating! Congrats.
  22. Agree on no to the textured shoes for sure, and def yes for bracelet! I like the idea of the color pop being in the handbag too. :)

    Greek Yogurt weird question

Another trick I've read about is to store your yogurts upside down in the fridge to avoid this.

    Psych evaluation

There will likely be a question and answer session along with a very long T/F test called the MMPI which is an assessment tool that psychologists use to look for any issues or areas of concern. There may also be a couple of other short assessment tests. There are no right or wrong answers. Just be truthful. It's not a big deal, no worries! Nut will likely start out with some basic information about fat/carbs/protein/fiber vs calories etc, then each visit will cover different stuff.
