Really disgraceful and tacky behavior. I am thoroughly disgusted. -
Seven weeks post op, night time dry heaving two nights in a row now
woo woo replied to tiredtwinmommy's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
This does not sounds good at all, especially the pain in your middle back. I have heard of this being a leak symptom. At the very least, I would call and have your surgeon paged to ask about this just to be safe and to make sure it's not a leak. Keep us updated and take care!! -

Annoyed by hunger / need to vent
woo woo replied to IdaliaMay's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I am sorry that you are struggling. One thought I had was that maybe you can work on a plan to move or change your living situation since you said you hate where you live? Even if it's something that will take a lot of time before you could actually move, you could put together a notebook, do research, make plans etc. Might make you feel better just to think about getting out. Another option is to redecorate -- paint your walls or rearrange your furniture! Can make a big difference in how the place feels to you. -
There are 8 oz in a cup. Look at how many oz the little cups contain each, and figure how much would equal 2 oz.

Any couples with young children here who've both had WLS?
woo woo replied to brians34's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I think the timing couldn't be better for your 12 year old to learn new healthy habits and shed some extra weight right along with the parents. I don't see any reason to buy junk. 12 is plenty old enough to get it elsewhere (like at school for example) so might as well make home a healthier place Best of luck to you all, keep us updated! :) -

@@maestrita are you sure you aren't in a cult, dear? Your post above sounds cultish to me. Edit: it's mainly the second paragraph that I find strange. -
Water Intake, How do I Eat Soup?
woo woo replied to AndreaSleevePanama's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Soup is not allowed at all (after the initial healing period) under many plans unless strained. -

Just putting it out there, there are a couple Dallas area docs doing sleeves in the 4k range right now. Just fyi for those still researching. -

5 days before spouse WLS... help. What do you wish you had known before?
woo woo replied to ErinAZ's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
There is a recent article on this site regarding relationship changes after WLS. If you scroll down the page you should see a link to it on the lower right side of the page, under where it says "WLS Magazine Articles". Maybe a good place to start. -

You have used this term several times, and so I was intrigued as I've not heard it before. I used Google and found this definition online: _______ butthurt Use of this is an instant way to let the entire online world [know] that you're a complete idiot. Originally a crass way to make fun of someone who is irrationally upset about something, is now used by total douchebags who don't have a creative or original bone in their body to troll on someone who expresses the slightest displeasure in anything. See also: You/u mad bro? Football (American or the kind with 2 keepers) fan: Shame my team lost, but they played hard, can't ask any more that. Douchebag: Don't get all butthurt because your team lost. Football team fan: Did you actually type that yourself, or just copy and paste it from somewhere else? Because you sure as **** didn't think of it on your own, you f**king mindless tool. _______ source: urban dictionary -

Travelmego, I find it fascinating that, even though you have been told by more that one person, including one of the women involved, that the incident happened DURING the sleeve trip, you have yet to respond in any way. Instead, you continue to repeat your misinformation about the supposed (now disproved) trip back to Mexico "for the affair". The quote above is just an example, you have repeated it more than once in your posts. This is odd and it seems like you are willfully ignoring it. Reminds me of how you were about Susan accidentally posting under her fiance's login. This is just an observation. -

For pete's sake what do her marriage vows have to do with the issue at hand here? Really not relevant, sorry. More sl ut shaming I'm afraid. -
Honestly, it is her house and it sounds like she is the one that supplies the groceries as well. I would probably be irritated if a person living with me in my house where I pay the bills came in and told me what not to buy to eat in my own house. Maybe she could have handled it differently but I really do see her point.

Follow Up Q's After WLS Introductory Seminar
woo woo replied to RAR70's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I think that you want to restrict your alcohol intake mainly because of the caloric value. It's best to get your calories from actual food and avoid drinking them. Even so, many people still enjoy the occassional drink and seem to do just fine. This will be after an initial healing period. -

In my opinion you are being deliberately obtuse here. Just an observation. There is so much more at play in these types of situations than any straight quid pro quo.
