Cross posted...am I going crazy?!
woo woo replied to kaninag's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I suggest a phone call to your surgeon's office. Also ask for something for your anxiety. There is no need to suffer, it's very easily treated. -

Cross posted...am I going crazy?!
woo woo replied to kaninag's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
That feeling of fear does sound like anxiety or panic. That is something that is treatable, easily in the short term with medication (benzos). As far as the other symptoms, have you spoken with your doctor again after the blood sugar episode? -
What is feeling full post sleeved feel like?
woo woo replied to Brigiter's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
For those of you that are very newly sleeved (still healing from surgery) you will likely not really feel full until you transition to solid food. There is numbness from the nerves being cut, and also liquids will flow through reasonably quickly. You will feel a big difference with solid food. -
Article about botched surgery
woo woo replied to AmyFromCincy's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm confused, this doesn't appear to be a "botched surgery" at all, but rather a reaction to antibiotics. The title of the article seems misleading. -
Pain in large incision area worsening
woo woo replied to FlabbyNat's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Yes it's normal, a part of the healing process. Try a heating pad for the pain, it really helps a lot. -
Self pay should not be a problem. Insurance would most likely be another story.

Have you tested your theory by cutting out the sugar free stuff?

Another option is to go with a nude color shoe. You can find cute nude heels or flats in leather or patent leather at places like DSW for very reasonable prices.

Hi.. I am new here...Need advice
woo woo replied to Fat_Tony's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just call and make an appointment with a surgeon you are interested in for a consultation. They will take it from there. They have primary care docs that will give you the recommendation that you need for your insurance. -
DFW TX Surgeon selection? (Dallas / Ft. Worth)
woo woo replied to Better than dead's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
It would help if we knew which surgeon you are talking about. Also, just fyi truth is an absolute defense to libel/defamation. -
DFW TX Surgeon selection? (Dallas / Ft. Worth)
woo woo replied to Better than dead's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I think all info is certainly more than welcome to those that are trying to make a choice when there are so many options. Btw, you can't get in trouble for posting the truth about something or somebody -
Fluids and Food ... Questions!
woo woo replied to jmshields's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
@@jennafah make sure you are drinking enough fluids, also ask your doc about a ppi if you are not on one already. Thirst or reflux can cause you to feel hungry. -

Drinking and eating at same time- Do you wait 30 minutes?
woo woo replied to ab123.'s topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Some doctors don't allow soup, ever, due to the no eating with liquids rule. (Unless strained). I think that's a little extreme though, just my opinion. I enjoy soup or chili at least a few times per month. I'm 8 months out. -
14 weeks... the 100 day mark in sight..the 3 mo. checkup...52 lbs gone..invincable!
woo woo replied to jjmcrash218's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Just order a Water when you go out. No awkwardness or repeatedly being asked if you are sure you don't want a drink. -
Wonderful congrats to you!!! What an amazing loss so far How is everyone else out there?

I had the same problem. Really annoying constant headache. I found that it stopped once I quit the anti nausea meds (saw that headache was listed as possible side effect) and switched to plain liquid tylenol for pain.

"You'd be much prettier if you lost weight"
woo woo replied to tiffanymarie6997's topic in Rants & Raves
Taking offense isn't going to change it. Not to mention that 99.9% of it is being done unconsciously. I didn't say it was right. What I am saying is that it is what it is. -

@@Moremarilynthenbarbie re: the work thing, the fact is that it's true. The professional world is all about perceptions. Often a person's appearance is one of the only things that others really have to go on. The good news is that there is a very good chance that you WILL find that you are better received and/or even respected more (which is likely deserved). Try not to be offended and just enjoy this added benefit of weight loss. -
@@faxxy you need to take a couple of steps back and look at the big picture. You seem to be fixating on small things in the near future. A month or two from now this period of time will be just a memory. You will eat steak and have a margarita again. Please just try to relax and think longer term. I have no reason to lie to you about this

Almost a Month Post Op and this happened :(
woo woo replied to dohickey01's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
After the first few weeks you will likely find that you are losing in a stair step pattern, not in a straight line down. If you follow your plan the weight will come off, don't worry. Do not stop your Protein, you need it to lose properly and to prevent muscle loss. Good luck to you
