Blood Work , GI Test , Gastric Emptying Study , sleep Study, Psych and Nutrition ... I think that is it !! And diet is two weeks before surgery. Weeks up to the two weeks before is high Protein low carb diet Week 1: 2 bariatric shakes a day and one meal Week 2: all bariatric shakes 3 days before: all Clear liquids Nothing before surgery the night before My whole process has been pretty fast.. My first appointment was September 10th and my surgery is December 18th

As far as what ? Like all my testing or as far as diet ? Or both?

December 18th Is My Official Surgery Day !! Found Out Today & I'm Extremely Happy, Excited , and READY

Well tomorrow is the day I find out my date !!!

I'm wondering about the PAIN LEVEL ,and HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE / STAY !! So the last time I spent the night in the hospital was the day I had my son (almost two years ago , and I had a miscarriage at 5 months). Is the PAIN anything like a labor pain or is it worse?? Honestly I'm not even scared for the surgery I think that I'm scared to maybe relive that experience.. I am definitely a work in progress when it comes to my baby boy but I know that he is in a better place.

I have been hearing about that gas pain, and that walking makes it better. Thank you so much for your well wishes And the same to you on your journey !!

Well I guess I have nothing to worry about because that had to be the WORST pain ever !!

So i've known that i was approved for surgery since about monday of this week. I emailed my doctors office to let them know and of course they sent me a long email talking about how they must recieve some approval number and confirmation number from my insurance. So me being NOT SO PATIENT; called my insurance company on thursday and asked if everything was moving along. The woman that i spoke to stated that everything was fine and that she would call my doctors office .... SO SHE DID and seriously 2 minutes later my patient insurace rep at the office emailed me saying everything was a go and that i can now come in for my final visit and schedul my surgery after paying nearly $1,000.00 when in the begining the only told me about $350.00. So the problem i have is that i am now having to wait until i can come up with the money for everything to be done. NOT ONLY THAT my doctor isnt going to be in the office at all the week of the 12th so now i either have to get it by thursday of this coming week or wait until the 19th.... IM SO DOWN !!! sorry if this is really long had to vent..
