My surgeon told me today a pound every other day is good. I had my surgery two weeks ago and i havd only lost 7 lbs. Kinda sucks i hope im not going to loose that fast. Got to start eating more today so maybe my body will jump start again with some weight loss

I bought the wls surgery cookbook for dummies there is some great ideas in there

Im two weeks out now. Doing great overall but started having pain on my right side. Dr said its normal it really suckd. Also got to start eating real foods today. Omg the egg i ate almost made me throw up. My i loved the string cheese. 7 lbs down since surgery.

Well im one week out of surgery. I have started eating more with no problems. I can get all my protein down. I still struggle with my 64 ounces of water but i had trouble with drinking water before surgery. Ive lost 11 lbs since surgery but its werid for some reason i dont feel like ive lost that much. Maybe because i have 100 more to go lol

Mine was the 15th as well. I can get my protein down but not all my water. My side is still so sore.

I had mine on the 15th as well. I woke up in alot of pain and was in the hospital over night. Today is the 1st day i think i have not wanted to dry heave. I was able eat 4 ounces today without a problem my big problem has been gas. I bought gas ex strips and that has helped alot. Just walk a little rest and sip as much as u can . Take the pain meds that will help as well. Hope that helps

Yes im doing much better today. Yesterday was hard 1st day gone so much gas. I got a little bit of the dry heaves. To day i have been able to eat everything on my list today.

Im having surgery on tuesday and now my long tine bf has just been plain mean. I dont understand y hes being so nasty. This surgery xan still have its problems so u think he would want to spend good times with me.

Ok so had my surgery yesterday and he sure snapped out of what ever was going on with him.

I just had my sleeve yesterday. Not one craving. You will be so happy and proud of urself for getting healthy

Thanks for sharing. I had mine yesterday. Just a little painToday. I cant wait to start to eat liquids today. Havent been able to eat since Monday might. But im not even that hungry lol.

Surgery in the morning. Nothing like watching ur family eat soild foods. Oh well lol i cant wait to be thin finally.

Hi im 5'11 and will have my surgery on Tuesday. My senior yr of high school i was down to 175 or 180. And i was a size 12. I set my goal for 200. I dont want to be a bean pole either:)

I have started trying to supplement some of my food with protein drinks to get ready for my surgery on Tuesday. Its been hard but i have lost another 8 lbs. But i have been so hungry

Wow mine is this Tuesday. Just got my surgery time. So super excited and nervous all at the same time. I have started eating way less and doing mostly soft or liquid food. Holy cow im so hurgey. I hope i dobt ferl this way after the surgery next week

Hi all So my surgery is next week. I started 2 yrs ago with kaiser fremont but droped out as i was doing so well with my weight. But well i never really lost all the weight. For 13 yrs i was caring for my handicapped child and going to school. Well sadly he passed in jan so i gained most of my weight back. I finally desisged it was time to take care of me and finally loose this 120 lbs of mine. I found this site and cant wait to talk to you all.

Thank u. Im so excited but so scared as well with kaiser. A kaiser screw up was the reason my son became disabled. So i hope everygoes well.
