I was 3 wks yesterday. Just got out of a stall that I had been in for 11 days. Stalls will come and go. Stick to ur diet plan. Ur body is going through shock and when u changes textures it shocks it again. Stay strong! Its a long process not an instant fix. My SIL is 6 mos out and just now at 53 lbs down. Ppl will loose weight at different stages. No one is identical. -

The baby food is ok but doesn't have near the protein u need -
I'm on liquid b12. Goes under tongue and hold for 30 sec then swallow. I was told no gummies. On flintstone vitamin and cal d chews. Was sore getting up and down for about a week. Never did have bad gas pains. Just soreness. I was lucky

The gurgling is normal. I have difficulty getting all my liquid and protein in too. Went to walmart yesterday and bought liquid whey protein shots. 3.8oz and has 42g of protein. -

I'm 19 days out and already on soft foods! So glad too. Broths were good but couldn't stomach the protein shakes and cream soups! Had difficulty getting all the protein, thank goodness walmart has protein in shot tubes! 42grams per vial. Love it!! -

In surgery holding area I was given versed to help me relax. Uh huh it knocked me out! I don't take very many meds so I have a very low tolerance. After surgery first day was rough. After that everything was slow and easy. 29 days post op now and I can do everything but lift over 15 lbs. Good luck to u! -

I am totally here with u! I'm almost 3 weeks out (monday) and have been in a stall for about a week now. I so want the scale to move. I also am struggling to get protein, water, and calories. I know where ur coming from! Holding on and hoping!

I so totally agree!! I had at least one headache a week before surgery. Now I'm 18 days out and not one headache so far! I'm so happy. I took Excedrin migraine and new I couldn't take after surgery. It feels great not to worry what I have to take!

Almost same experience here, not near as bad though. Went to my nephews b-day party. I had about 3oz of hawaiin punch and one bite of cake. Took about 15 minutes and I stayed in the restroom for 20 minutes. Went home then to bed. Stay away from sweets! I'm craving Chinese food but i'm too scared to try it! lol

I totally agree. I'm a nurse too and that really needs wound tx. I would go to pcp and see what we could do. All my incisions closed nicely. Even where the drain was closed within a few days of the drain coming out.

I'd be very careful. After surgery for some reason ur stomach makes way more acid that can cause ulcers even if you've never had a problem. I know I never had indigestion or heartburn and now I get nausea in the mornings until I take my prilosec

I wore scrub bottoms and big tshirt. Wore my bra with no problem and slip on shoes. I'm 2 wks out today and can just now bend good enough to tie shoes! -

Having A Hard Time Getting Liquids Down =(

I'm on day 11 post op. At first I had problems with any liquids at all. I'm doing better now. Still not getting all my fluids in. Before the sleeve I didn't drink much most of the time anyway. Never did have the gas pains, thank goodness! so far i'm down 11 lbs since surgery, 22 lbs total! The first couple of days I had pain from the surgery itself, the lemon glycerin swabs were a life saver! Good luck to all!
