I'm 4 wks post op and had my first egg today. It settled very well with me and I had no issues.

Yes I experience the same thing with the rumbling. Not sure why its happening though.

You are so good...wish I could say I was following by the book too. I had one week of liquids pre op and now two more weeks post op. I don't know how I'm going to do it. I can't make myself drink them.uughhhh!!!!

Oh and try laying a small pillow in your side & slowly roll onto it. Sounds weird but kinda rest your belly on it. Its worked for me!!!!

Daisy I was sleeved on 9/23as well and was wondering the same thing. These protein shakes are getting harder & harder to digest. Lol

I'm a 23rd sleever too!!! Ive had hardly no pain just feels like I did a major ab workout. Its more sore to me. I am, however, feeling nauseous. I dont want to take the meds b/c they make me sleepy. Oh and I can hardly get the protein shake down. It get this gurgling sound when I put anything in my mouth. -
I'm 3 days sleeved and that is happening a lot to me. I'm concerned about it too.

I'm on day 3 from being sleeved and I still feel very nauseous. Is that normal? I keep getting this gurgling sound in my throat/mouth and it makes me feel like I want to vomit. I feel like I can't even get my protein drinks down without wanting to vomit.

Yes they gave me an rx for Zofren and Promethazine but that makes me sleepy and I'm trying to get some walking in. I hope this gets better because nothing is settling well in my stomach either.
