Hi All, I had surgery on Monday. I am feeling good today. The first day was really hard, I had trouble with the morphine and being so nauseous. But after changing the pain meds things got much better. I have had no issues getting in my protein and I'm walking. I cant wait until my two week post surgery visit to see how it has been going. I feel great. -

Day 10 of my liquid diet. Some days are ok, and some frankly suck eggs. The good news is I'm down 15 from my pre-op appt and surgery is next Monday. I can do anything if I keep focused. -

Tomorrow is the start of my liquid diet. I will be on it for 2 weeks. I'm nervous. Any advice from someone that has been on the liquid diet already? -

red31, I have had surgeries in the past and I'm still feeling scared. I think it is a mix of excitement and worry. But it will be ok. This is becoming a common surgery and I'm sure you have done a lot of research before now. We are going to be great! -
