My name is Sarah. I started gaining weight around 12 years old and it steadily packed on over the following 10 years. I had multiple problems at only 25 years old including high blood pressure, pre-diabetic, high cholesterol, as well as PCOS. I had researched weight loss surgery for about 2 years before finally deciding to make the call to look into it for real. I called True Results - Richardson, TX in January 2013 and gave them all of my information for myt insurance as well as my body type. Within 24 hours I had a call back and had made an appointment for my consultation. I am not sure how the insurance side of the process works, as the ladies at True Results handled everything with my insurance company. They gave me a list that had to be completed for insurance before they would approve the surgery and I got to it. I completed my pre-op qualifications at the end of July 2013. Insurance took 2 weeks to approve the surgery and I had my sleeve on August 13, 2013 weighing 273 lbs. and wearing a size 28W pants and a XXXL top. As of February 2014, I am at my goal weight of 150 lbs. and wear a size 8 pants and medium top. All of my health issues resolved themselves within 2 months after surgery. I can now run and keep up with my 5 year old and don't feel as if getting out of bed in the mornings is a chore. I feel great! I have another chance at life! I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!
