Did your doctor give you a plan? You usually go to different stages over the healing process. Like full liquids for two weeks.

f**k no! I'm sorry but that would be dangerous!
  4. Or in other words, how the mighty fall. Oh hard times! Self image, weight, perception, I am pretty, I am thin I am ugly, I am fat, My own worse enemy. I slip a little then I trip myself all the way. food, my enemy, my nemesis! My lifeline my love! I must eat! I mustn't eat! I never want to eat again. I want to eat all the time... Day by day as I consume, I am consumed. I am an inspiration, I am a sham. I am hanging on so fragile and scared. I want to live, this is not living.

    Just one last meal

It's like offering a lung cancer patient one last cigarette. You will be able to eat again. I would decline.

The mind, a powerful and sometimes evil thing!

    feeling fat?

I think a lot of people still feel fat even after they have lost the weight. It might take a minute for your mind to catch up with your body. I might also ask is it worth the number if it's a fight and a struggle to get and stay there? Really you look good

I think you should keep on going until you get to goal! Oh why do you feel fat??? Sorry didn't see that. How much do you have to lose still?

    3 days post op

The first week is the hardest and your stomach is sore and your throat is inflamed from the tubes they put down it during the surgery. It gets easier hang in there.
  15. Catheter but only during surgery. 2 days and it was nice to be cared for.

Obviously my comedic timing sucks when it comes to the written word.... It was a joke.
  17. I thought the pre op was the worse! That is, until I got to the post op The first couple of days I was so miserable, I said to my husband the pre op wasn't so bad, I could of just stayed on that a year!! But as far as sticking to it? I stuck to both because the first one was to make sure I had the safest surgery possible. The second was to give my mangled stomach the time that it needed to heal.

6 days post op? And only 12 pounds?? Gee I don't know, I would call the doctor. That just doesn't sound right.
  19. Not silly. I wonder the same thing. I read here we are not supposed to get full. But stop at pre- full lol! Get the sleeve it will lake you get full easier but don't eat until full because that's bad! Perhaps they should of given us a see through patch on our stomachs so we can gauge when it is exactly that we have eaten the just right amount!
  20. This description sounds like my pattern too. My sleeve relaxes in the evening also. I wonder if we should eat early in the day and then perhaps we will not be so "empty" towards the end of the day. I am several months past you.
  21. Still not slow! It all counts. That is a steady respectable weight loss. You have done very well young lady!
