  1. I have BcBs as well when I went to the first seminar I gave my bariatric center all my insurance info .... They found out I also had the exclusion clause ..... So I am a self pay ... It really sounds like the insurance co screwed up sometimes you can appeal the exclusion if its a medical necessity with dr assistance .... So sorry and best of luck

  2. Without going to far in a limb here I think most of us have reflux atlest I know I did fit years I am already being weened off of omeprazol to Zantac then to go off all together ... The sleeve surgery as well as my hernia fix has been great so far .... Is it the chrones that is the issue ???? I don't know about that and surgery sorry but good luck in your journey ...

Feeling pretty good finally , going for my check up today , I'm very curious about my blood work and how all my supplements are working , I'm getting the hang of life without bad food , I really don't miss the crap stuff ,,, I really thought bread and Pasta would be hard to delete but really not so much :) 27 lbs is pretty much on track I feel , not a big enough change for me to really notice , just subtle things ,,,, looking forward to the oh wow reactions to come .... No regrets NONE !!!! Feeling blessed and hopeful for my future health ....

  4. Feeling pretty good , getting to understand my Limits ... Only down 25 lbs but better down than up so I'm pleased it too 30 years to put it on lol ... I'm so glad that I went through this I was a self pay but it was totally worth it to help me live a better life , everyday I feel blessed to have the support , I have never had any push back , which is awesome ... I'm averaging about 600-800 cals a day and I track with my fitness pal which helps ,,, I can't wait to hit onederland ... I haven't see. That in 26 years OMG but it's within my reach wish me luck ya'all .....

  5. Listen to your body it will tell you what you need , it took me almost a full month to get my energy I'm 49 not sure if that's why but going well now almost 5 weeks out , I told pretty much everyone what I was doing and why do I go only good feed back I wouldn't care if anyone said negative , but I don't surround myself with those people any way ... I am loved no matter what size , I know that and am thankful .... Cheers with a Protein Shake to your new way of life welcome to the club. ,,

  6. You have such a great family it looks like now it's time to take care of you as a mom myself that's the last thing on the board right ... But not now after what you have been through this will be a walk in the park ... Keep your head up and just keep moving forward every day will get better and before you know it your health will be back and you and your family will look at your past and say wow we made it. Good luck and god bless your journey ...
