I got sleeved on the 8th too lol. The gas pains are the worse I can't seem to get ruin of it. I can feel the gas rumbling in my stomach. I'm having trouble getting my fluids too the smell of any broth is among me nauseous. I promised myself I'll get as much of the protein shakes and water down as humanly possible today. I spiked a fever last night but I seems to be gone now. It's all so hard to get use to
  5. I'm still in the hospital feeling good. These gas pains are ridiculous and the meds they gave me mad me want to puke. The nauseous alone without the meds made me beg for meds. Overall it's slowly improving though. Any other October sleevers out there? Need someone to talk to

    Coffee cravings!

I think decaf is ok to have. Not the same but maybe it'll curve your craving a little

    Upset...

I've had a few people try to talk me out of it with the same line "way can't you just do it alone" they don't seems to understand that for many of us food is an addiction. I personally sit at my desk at work each day counting down the minutes until lunch time because I'm starving yet I ate breakfast 2-3 hours ago. We know it's not going to solve all out food issues but it most certainly well give us a tremendous head start in the right direction. Ignore them all. I'm a few days away from surgery as well. Good luck! Just like about all he exciting things you'll be able to do afterward.

    Freaking out

I've definitely done my research. I'm having my surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital. I've been battling obesity since childhood. I feel like now in my early twenties is the best time to take extreme measures so I don't end up with severe health problems. I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I have one friends who has had the sleeve and she claims she was perfectly fine before and after.
  9. I'm schedule for surgery on October 8th and as each day passes I'm getting more and more freaked out. I've never so much as gotten stitches before. I know this is the best decision for me I need to have this surgery. I'm so afraid ill have a break down the day of surgery. Has anyone else felt this way?

BCBS FL going to cover WLS in 2014?

I have BCBS of California, they are paying for my sleeve now. I'm schedule on October 8th. You just have to jump through a lot of hoops to get the approval. It took me 10 months. Good Luck!
