Hi November Sleevers! I was sleeved on Nov 27. Surgery went well. Although I did vomit 4 times after surgery due to the anesthesia. Once the nurses got that under control, everything was fine. Did not have a catheter nor a drain. Stayed in the hospital for 2 1/2 days. Had my post op appt with surgeon and now on puréed foods. Living on scrambled eggs with cheese, tuna fish, cod, cottage cheese, yogurt with no fruit pieces, creamy Soups, strained, etc. not really feeling "hunger". I've lost almost 25 lbs so far (including pre op diet). Hope everyone is doing well. Happy Holidays!!!

i'm being sleeved at CDH in Winfield, Illinois. Yes, the surgeon is putting me on a two week post op liquid diet. I start on Nov. 13th. It will be here before you know it! How about you? Where will you have the sleeve done?

I'm 5'3" CW: 242 Excited to start my journey and put all this weight behind me! My goal weight is 135. Once I hit that, I will be in a normal BMI. Then I will let my body settle into a weight that it likes. Whether it be 130, 125, 120. Whatever it feels comfortable at. :-)

I see some surgery dates are coming up quickly! Congrats and good luck. My date is Nov 27. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm not sure how this 56 year old body will bounce back. I will be having my lap band removed and revise to the sleeve. I've read I could have more complications because of having the band first. Like scar tissue, stricture, etc.

Hi! I'm Nov 27. The day before Thanksgiving. I will have a lot to be thankful for. :-) I am a bandster at the moment and will be revising to vsg. So I already have some experience in wls. I live in Bolingbrook, IL.

Hi! I, too, am new to this forum. I am also revising my lapband to vsg. My surgery date is Nov. 27, 2013. My surgeon will also remove the band and perform the vsg in the same operation. I have so many problems with the band, that I cannot wait to get it removed. I will be doing the 2 week liquid diet prior to surgery, just like with the lapband. I am really scared about scar tissue and leaks.
