October 28th with Dr. Hausmann in Baton Rouge, LA! -
I called Aetna the day before I found out I was approved. The rep advised that I ask my Dr's nurse representative to call and speak with the nurse reviewing my pre-cert. Within 3 hrs I received the call back from her that I was approved! You may want to do the same. I had been waiting 28 days.

I was just approved today. Surgery on the 28th with Dr. Hausmann in BR. I live in Zachary, but lived in Tangipahoa parish most of my life until 2 years ago. I'm so excited, but a little nervous, too.

The worst diet to me is ANY diet! The BEST products have to be PLEXUS. I started using the slim (pink drink) and accelerator on Aug. 10 in anticipation of my surgery. I have never felt deprived and actually was able to stop taking my insulin after two weeks (products were originally designed to regulate blood sugar.) I still take the Metformin, but only need 2 a day rather than 4. I added the probio5 at about one month and the inches really started dropping. I no longer have intense sugar cravings and my nighttime appetite is nearly gone. There is also a protein supplement that I will be using right before and after the surgery. These products are so awesome that people started asking me if I had already had surgery, and when I said I hadn't yet, wanted to know how to get the products, I signed on immediately as an ambassador to get the wholesale price, but now I'm making enough to cover my monthly supply, plus some. :-). I will definitely continue to use Plexus after surgery and will be adding the XFactor vitamin supplement, as well.

Different companies must require different things. I did not have to submit a 2 yr history, and was approved today. Took 28 days from submission to approval (including weekends.)

I didn't have any medical history in that length of time. I was previously married and divorced. Had no insurance for many years, so I didn't go to the doctor. :-/ Remarried a year ago and had to wait for a year to elapse before I was eligible under my husband's plan. Wasn't told anything about the 2 year BMI.
