  1. Happy 43rd Birthday AnnJ!

  2. 4 years has passed since you registered at LapBandTalk! Happy 4th Anniversary AnnJ!

  3. I agree with Nursienicole. Once you are sure it is not an infection, then try wearing a snug fitting abdominal binder or girdle. This worked wonders for me !

    Wasabubblebutt is in recovery

I hope you have a speedy recovery. If you don't mind my asking, why did Wasa need the revision surgery? Ann
  5. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I usually have a Protein shake for breakfast, or 1/2 of a chewy Protein Bar, Soup or a Lean Cuisine for lunch at work (I can usually eat only 1/2 of it and it has to be soft food like thier meatloaf and mashed potato. By dinner time, I can pretty much eat anything, as long as I chew well, and if I don't watch it I can probably eat as much as my pre-band portions! This is very depressing because most evenings after dinner, I feel like I'm a failure because I hae eaten more than I typically need to. I will call my Dr's office on Monday and see what they suggest. Thanks again:smile2: Ann
  6. Hi everyone! I hit my sweet spot about 4 months ago and was losing at a steady state by staying pretty tight in the day and eating a little more in the evenings. The daytime restriction has remained but I feel wide open in the evenings now, and am starting to need more to be full. I have also started gaining slowly. My question is, do I get a small fill? I'm worried that if I do, I might be so tight in the am that I cannot even swallow my own saliva. I can barely get solids down in the mornings, as it is now. Has anyone had this experience and what did you do? Ann:confused_smile:
  7. Sandra, Congratulations on your surgery! Peggy is right. Calf pain after surgery is most times due to a blood clot. Call your doctor immediately about this. Also, if you start to notice shortness of breath at any time, you will need to go to the emergency room. Good luck to you and I hope all turns out well AnnJ
  8. Hi Kimslil Congrats on your amazing loss already. :clap2: I was just wondering, how many fills have you had since surgery? I was banded in April and I've had only one fill. AnnJ
