Thanks! On myfitnesspal, I use the calorie count after exercise. But I don't exercise a lot so far, so it doesn't make a big change :-/ -

I have been so bad today. I dot know what got into me. I was out with some friends who don't know that I had the surgery, and went to a French bakery. I tried to be good and order some duck, but it was bad, I returned it, and they suggested I just play it safe, and get a sandwich. I didn't even hesitate... I ordered a "croque Monsieur" which is a sandwich, most of the time made with baguette and Swiss cheese, and ham. Sometimes with a bechamel on top. I ate 4 regular bites of it. Then they gave free mimosas, and I had 3 to 4 sips :-/ And we all went to mechies to get frozen yogurt, and I didn't buy any, but I literally had a little tasting cup of each flavor. I feel very bad about all this; especially the French baguette. I need to get back on track NOW. Being a carb addict, it just triggered something and I want more. And the worst part is that It was not uncomfortable at all. I was absolutely fine. Isn't that unusual for being only 2 months post op? *sigh* Well, I'm gonna go have a protein shake now, and try to forget today ever happened.... -

Lol, I also want some courage cheese! Thanks, everyone. I will opt for 800 and see how that goes for now. Just curious, Fluffnomore, what is a bariatric pudding and where can I get it? Sounds yummy! :-P (hahaha auto correct just changed "bariatric pudding" to "barbaric pudding" hahaha) -
Christmas - New Year Challenge

180 it is! -
I'm in the same situation with my mom. She is so proud of me and says all these encouraging things, but soon after she will say the most horrible things about herself and how she is such a pig and huge and nothing fits anymore and she hates herself. It makes me very sad because even though I'm happier, a part of me is sad because my mom isn't happy, and I can't do anything for her.... :-(

Christmas - New Year Challenge
EarthyGoalie replied to Bea Amaya's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm a bit late :-( but yesterday I was 190. My goal fr Christmas is 182. -
I've been craving that too. My favorite is broccoli cheddar from panera. I tried making one home with protein, but it was horribly unsuccessful. I hope someone can shed some light here and give a recipe that not only has low carb, but a decent amount of protein too.

What ya eating tonight?
EarthyGoalie replied to OleHippieGal's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is my version of a pizza I made tonight. I made it out of 1/4 of a flatout flat bread and colby jack cheese (weight watchers) and some ham, and just a tiny bit of ketchup and sun dried tomatoes. -
Anybody Else Cheating?
EarthyGoalie replied to MississippiQueen's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well, I didn't really go through all that because my doctor gave me 2 days of liquid, 3 days of soft, and by day 6, he told me I could eat most things (with an exception list) but to experiment one thing at a time, and very small and well chewed portions. I didn't follow what he said because I felt I needed more time on liquids. I was just not feeling up to eating at all the first week. And by the way, not to steal your thread away, lol, but I must say... You veterans absolutely terrify me with the "wait till x months go by, it'll get so hard"... Oh man... I can't count how many times I've read that on here. I'm so terrified of when that moment comes :-( I guess it is better to be prepared, and be scared, that way I watch myself a lot more... But I'm scaredddddd. Everyday I wake up thinking "ugh I've probably stopped losing, it's over for me." Lol. -
