I would say 'stop when you feel ANY kind of funny feeling what so ever.. I avoid all those Pbing and other things by just doing that.. sometimes you may be hungry still though, just have more liquid stuff..

I lay on a table, dont even get undressed. She puts a needle in my skin, maybe 2 or 10 times.. its stings alittle, but no big deal. Then I sit up and drink Water and then she takes the needle out. Its super simple.

yes, i stayed on the 20 carbs for the month.. induction, i guess.. we just decided to have one rule and that was under 20 carbs a day. I kept my weight off.. after I was banded and back on carbs, but I didnt lose any either.. My cousin and my daughter went right back to carbs and we thought they woulg gain it all back and they didnt.. for about 6 months and then they did gain it back.

I lost 41 pounds in a month.. they told me one and a half months before my surgery that I had to lose 40 to 60 pounds and I paniced and when there was only a month left, I made sure I ate 20 carbs or less on average perday and I lost 41 pounds... IT WORKS! My daughter lost 15 pounds (she started at 150) My cousin lost 25 pounds (she started at 170) I had started at 415.. Stay under 20.. and try to exersize as much as possible (your excersize counts and WORKS like twice as much when you have NO carbs to burn through.. thus your fat is burned faster) I am disabled and all I did was aqua aerobics If I can do it anyone can. (beleive it!)

Crispy oatmeal Cookies (perfect for bandsters) In a large Bowl: 1/2 cup Lite butter or margarine, melted. 1.5 cups quick or old-fashioned rolled oats In a small bowl: 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (yes, only one tablespoon) 1 tsp. baking powder 1 pinch salt Mix it up Add: 1 beaten egg 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar Mix well. Add to the oatmeal bowl, mix well Add 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts and 1tsp vanilla, mix. Refridgerate an hour or overnight Roll into balls, flatten with wet fork Bake at 350 degrees..10 to 12 minutes Use a real good cookie cooking sheet or paper. Per cookie: 74 calories 4.5 fat 9 carbs -

Low fat chilli. Fast, Easy and yummy. Dont be affraid by these ingrediants.. this makes the most delicious unique chilli. In a pot: Half pound 7% or less fat Hamburger or you can use ground turkey or chicken. (cooked and crumbled) 2 cans red kidney Beans 2 cans stewed tomatoes One can black beans one can corn or mexi corn 1 cup finely chopped green pepper One medium chopped onion One can progresso type tomatoe herb Soup or tomatoe basil thick and chunky..(not regular tomatoe!) Some brown sugar or spenda to taste. (or chilli powder if you prefer) Cook till hot.. Makes 12 generious lapband servings. This keeps very well in the fridge. Tastes even better the next day. Can easily be blended for a smoother consistancy. Top with fat free sour cream and serve with Fat free mini cornbread muffins. (baking mix at the store, Kruteez, they taste good and with out any butter even!) Chilli made with hamburger, without sugar. Approximate Calories 220 Fat 6 Carb 38 Protein 14 -

This is a sample diet (before I was banded) when I would lose a lot of weight as long as I didnt go over 20-30 carbs a day. Breakfast 2 fried eggs 3 slices bacon 1 cup Cottage cheese 1 cup Crystal lite lunch Atkins chocolate shake Snack 1 cup pork rinds 1 cup crystal lite dinner 8 hot and spicy chicken wings 3 small celery stalks 3 tbs low fat cream cheese 1 cup crystal lite Snack Atkins vanilla shake TOTALS: 1500 calories, 20 carbs, 90 fat The above "diet" wouldnt saticefy me. So,I would constantly snack on zero carb foods to stay under the 20 carb rule. The ZERO carb food below is what I would snack on once I had my 20 carb limet excceeded. Look at the calories... I could add all these calories and fat and NOT add any carbs.. AND still lose weight fast. Me at 400 pounds lost 40 pounds, my daughter at around 150 pounds lost 15 pounds and my cousin around 175 lost 25 pounds... In A MONTH AND A HALF.. BY staying under 20 carbs and being pigs on Zero carb foods to keep from Cheating. ZERO carbs food we ate freely. : Sausage link 50 cal, 0 carb, 5 fat Pork chop 2.5 ounces 335 calories, 0 carb, 21 fat Vienna sausage 45cal, 0 carb, 4 fat Turkey roasted, 2 ounces 135caol, 0carb 3fat Olives, 3 small 15cal, 0 carb, 2 fat Cheddar Cheese 1oz. 115cal, 0 carb, 9 fat Chicken, Canned, Boneless 5oz. 235 cal. 0carbs 11fat Salmon, canned, pink, 3 oz. 120calories 0carb 5 fat Mayonnaise with the salmon Salmon, Smoked, 3 oz 150 cal, 0carb, 8fat Sardines, canned in oil, 3oz 175cal, 0 carb, 9fat Ground beef patty, 230cal, 0carb, 16fat Pork rinds Beef jerkey Summer sausage cheese cheese and more cheese I am NOT condoning this mode of loosing weight.. I am JUST showing what we did and how we did it and what the results were. I HATE this diet. BUT I hate ALL diets. I cannot stay on this one OR on ANY for more than a month or so. I just KNOW FOR A FACT..that if you DO NOT go over 20 carbs a day.... YOU WILL loose weight.. I doubt ANYONE could ever eat more of the high calorie, high fat foods we ate (all pigs)(my cousin especially would eat pounds of bacon, burger and cheese,) and we all lost the wieght fast. The staying under 20 carbs has GOT to be enforced.. we also tried this without following the rules and it did not work.. when we actually DID NOT cheat and stayed under 20 carbs .. IT worked.. Anyway.. I want REAL bad to be a 100 pound loser in one year.. that pretty much means I need to lose 40 pounds or so in a month.. and THUS I am back on LOW carb.. to try it, cuz I cant seeem to do it with my tight restrcition cuz I graze and drink my calories full of sugar. I am NOT counting carbs... SO I know I wont lose the weight.. But as long as I keep my carbs down, and go for my fill in late january.. MAYBE I will get close enough to goal.

Notice How I only buy things for the kids that wont temp me like ketsup, cerial, diet pop, pancakes, pB &J) My kids will get plenty of carbs in their other foods.. so its not like I am forcing them to low carb. So here are the things I can make this month with that food. Meat and cheese with lettace and mayo and mustard sandwitches. Grilled Cheese sandwitches. Hot dog's Turkey and cream cheese roll ups in tortillas Cheese quesidillas Cheese and chicken quesidillas..w/ salsa and sour cream. Burettos made with hamburger and some fajita seasoning, shredded cheese, chopped onion, folded tortillas baked in oven. Taco salads made with the same as above using crutons for the crunch instead of chips, salad dressing, olives. Chicken breast salad's Chicken anything. LOL Hamburger patties with cheese and onion and the thousand island. Plus salad. Mongolian Beef and broccolli Asperagus with melted cheese Chef salad, cheese, meat, hard eggs, cucumber Deviled eggs with the dill pickles. Egg flower Soup. Shrimp and cheese. Shrimp toaste. Shrimp salad. Celery and cream cheese carrots and ranch Chicken curry. Sausage and eggs and bacon .. omlets and all that.. Unlimeted options. Alot more.. when you look thru the list I am sure you can see many things.

This is a really neat idea. I really like this recipe, I made it at christmas and it was so easy to get down that I have made it two more times since.. now it has bread and sausage in it, so I dont know why its so easy to eat.. but I am very tight and this is just one of the easier things for me to eat. I have modified this recipe to be as low in fat and calories and carbs as possible. Sausage Spinach Stuffing balls. Brown and crumble: One pound Low fat Jimmy Dean sausage. Mix together in a bowl: The sausage drained. 6 slices low carb bread toated and cut into cubes One can stems and peices mushrooms diced, One glove garlic chopped or other garlic options. Salt and Pepper and other spices as you like. (OR you can use 6 ounces vegtable flavor stove top stuffing) 3/4 cup Water 3/4 cup canned spinach or cooked frozen spinach. (lower carb) Roll into balls (OR press like a meatloaf into a pan) Brush with 1/4 cup melted butter (oppional) Bake:at 350 degres for 15 minutes. MAKES ABOUT 16 BALLS. 1 ball is a perfect portain for a bandster. These freeze so well! Halving the recipe is easy to make 8 balls. IF YOU ARE LOW CARBING, THIS IS GREAT TO SERVED WITH eggs AND cheese. The version using low carb bread. (no butter) Per ball 100 calories 6 grams fat 3.5 grams carbs -
I guess I am ideal around 145 to 165 but I will be amazing at 199... and my realalistic goal is to be under 250 pounds that still means i have to loose in total 165 pounds.

I am not taking sides.. i only read the last post and I just want to say this My blood was taken without gloves, the cotton balls were in a jar already soaked in alcohal and she grabbed one and squeezed it out into the jar before she swabbed my area. my blood vile was labled in pencil with masking tape my nurses could not speak english and it was the main reason why my arm was infiltrated heavily from the IV with heavy pain meds I could feel for a week while my arm was swollen.. There is no call button and the staff is dissapeared for long times. .......... I am NOT complaining.. I am glad I got to go at all... I am just saying that yes, these things happen and the standards are way below that of the usa.. I noticed things all the time I cant recall off the cuff right now... But I guess that can lead to it not being as safe -
everyday I eat tomatoe Soup, reses peanutbutter cups, cheetos, milk and juice.. Sometimes I have hot cocoa, sherbert and cerial with cream,. I dont seem to follow any rules .. I am getting down on myself for this too. I PLAN to change this in January. But how many times have I thought this same thing.. I dont Pb and I dont ever plan to.. But thats all I do right.

Question. I like to make soups in the winter. However, won't they go right through the pouch and leave me hungry? >>>>>Make healthy, low fat, low carb, low cal soups and you should be able to get enough in NOT to be hungry. Otherwise.. yes, you may be hungry.. I eat soup every day.. A can of tomatoe is my lunch and I fill nice and full.
