Here is Dr. Lopez's website http://specializedbariatrics.com/about/ From what I heard, Mexico Bariatric Center also books for Dr. Lopez and Dr. Osuna. Mexico Bariatric Center is a reputable company. I know a lot of people that used them. Dr. Lopez is no longer working with ALighterMe. ALighterMe is telling patients otherwise to get them with Ortiz. Dr. Ortiz is only an assistant surgeon with no certifications for bariatrics. -

I heard bunch of the patients are furious that have been lied to by ALighterMe. They have been told by A Lighter Me that they are having surgery with Dr. Alejandro Lopez Ortega and when they received the paperwork it was Dr. Ortiz. Dr. Lopez does not work with ALighteMe anymore. So be careful who does the surgery. -

My thing is: Why take chances with surgeons who are not certified for bariatric surgery and just graduated where there are so many qualified surgeons working with reputable companies!!! -

Thank you for the reference. I was just told by Specialized Bariatrics, office of Dr. Alejandro Lopez, that his credentials on the website is not real. He has no certification for bariatric surgery. He is an assistant surgeon trying to do bariatrics. -
