I was put on 300mg twice a day at my 1 month checkup. Script was written for 5 months. My surgeon says by then sleevers are past the danger of getting gallstones.

I just turned 64 in October. My surgery is scheduled for November 20th and I start my liquid pre-op diet on Monday. Ready to do this.

I'm scheduled for November 20th at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. I start my liquid pre-op diet on Monday. I've been researching this for a long time and started the journey last February. UHC requires 6 months of NUT. I'm ready to do this. Good luck to all with November surgery dates. -

I don't have a firm date yet but should be early December. I started this journey in late February. All my tests are done, 6 months of NUT is done. I have been approved by insurance and will get a firm date next week. I'll be 64 on Halloween so I'm probably the oldest one on this journey. -

I started this journey on Feb. 19th and my surgery consult was finally scheduled for Nov. 6th. My insurance company has had me jumping through hoops for months but has finally approved my VSG. I have no idea if I'll be able to keep my same insurance next year so I'm getting anxious about having the surgery this year. A lot of my questions have been answered here and I am grateful for all the help. -
After 6 months of counseling with a dietician I have finally received my approval letter! I am now waiting for the appointment with the surgeon I have chosen. I have read so many posts here that are helpful. Thanks to all.
