Every time I took a sip, I would get a bad gas pain in my stomach. I am now 2 weeks out and it has really subsided (unless I eat too fast). Hang in there, it will get better!!

Hi all, I am curious to know if anyone started soft foods at the end of 2 weeks. All my literature says to wait until the end of 3 weeks, but my Surgeon says it is ok to start at the end 2 weeks. I am at 2 weeks now and wanted to eat some fat free retried beans. Any thoughts??
