It varies from person to person. I have had no pain or soreness at all and can sleep comfortably on my stomach at 1 week post op. Others have a little and dome have more. Just depends on your body. Hang in there. -

I had my surgery 4 days ago and I was feeling exactly the same way on my surgery day. It is normal. This is the best gift u can give yourself. Just think of the weeks to come. How much better you will feel. Hang in there. It gets better. -

Hi everybody. I just joined and love the wealth of information. I am 2 weeks per op and feeling very nervous. I currently weigh 340 pounds. I need this surgery to save my life.

Thanks Dear. I actually got a call from the surgeon today looking to move up the surgery to the week. I was nervous at first but as usual I had folks cheering me on on this forum. So, I'm going for it. Wish me luck.

I was scheduled for October 2. Was to start per op diet tomorrow. Just got a call from surgeons office. They want to move it up to this Friday. Not sure how to feel. A part of me is anxious to get it over with. The other part of me is nervous. -
