You are going to be fine blueshea and you came to the right place to find out more!! Doing as much research as possible is the key. Youtube is also a good resource as well. Not to self promote, but Im 5 weeks out and have been chronicling my journey on youtube as well. Posted a video last week on what I wish I had known before surgery- check it out. I remember feeling exactly the same, I have been wanting to get surgery for a couple of years and put it off because of fear. But now I have made up my mind and decide that this is the right thing to do and I'm willing to do it to get my life back. My surgery is set for Oct 23rd nervous and waiting!!!

My BMI was almost 72. My insurance company said, "Get that dude under the knife!" Sorry carry on.
