I would suggest asking your surgeon or NUT. Pre op diets are so important. You want to do exactly what they say.

You'll need to call the insurance to find out what their criteria are. Usually you have to have a bmi of 35 to 39 with co morbidities or a bmi of 40 or above with no co morbidities -

It's my new favorite now. I became interested recently because a lot of post ops eat it. I'm still pre op so I decided to find out what they were so hyped about and fell in love. What I keep hearing is to make sure you chew, chew, chew, chew, chew, chew....I think more RNY folks have problems with it getting stuck. Never heard anything like that from Sleeves. -
Or better yet, go by there.
