I also do the b-12 sublingual. My doc does a test every 3 months for it. I have never been low, he says it's because of the sublingual B-12 complex that I take. I get it at wal-mart for about $6 for a months supply. It taste sorta tart but it's doable. If I miss a dose I can tell, I am tired and a bit sluggish. I take it every morning before breakfast. If I take it at night I am restless, and can't sleep. ~Mandy

I have an original Monchichi, my dh bought it for me when I was preggers with my dd. I had one as a child but it was destroyed in my late teens. It was the best surprise ever. He got my mom to help pick out the corect one. It is exactly like the one I had growing up. He is sitting on my dresser. My 5 year old dd loves rainbow brite and Strawberry shortcake. The old ones go for a fortune on ebay. She has several of the new ones. He favorite things right now are the cupcake dolls. I had them as a kid and they too are making a comeback. Their dresses are like cupcake papers and you can flip them up and put a piece of plastic frosting on their heads so they look like a giant fake cupcake and they smell like cake (not really but the box says they do)~Mandy

Here is a pic of my new baby. He is right around a year old, he was a puppy mill rescue. He might not look like much right now but once his hair is back he will be a handsome little devil. His name is Stitch and he is about 15 pounds. He had to be shaved he was matted so badly, but he is really making progress in our home. He even let me hold him last night. He had never had any human contact before us. He has stolen my heart. I had to share him with someone.......

Hi guys, Mousecrazy invited me to join the group. Some may know me others may not. I have had my band just over a year (July 28th 05) and I am down about 75 pounds. I am almost at my new goal. I wanted to get to 135 but now I am thinking that 140 or 145 is more like it. I am from Chicago, and I am 28. I have a 5 year old special needs daughter so day to day is a bit different around my house. Hope I am not intruding, I just want a place to go for real support and friends. I guess I am looking for a safe place to be. ~Mandy

I am going to stay as long as it stays civil. I missed LBT while I was gone. This has been a place for support and I have made many friends here. I recieved many many emails telling me that is had calmed down and was safe to return. I am pretty close to goal but I think I have a bunch to offer to newbies and I need the support too sometimes. ~Mandy

My hubby bought a big trak from 1972 for about $5, he played with it for about 2 weeks and got bored with it. I listed it on Ebay and it sold for $175. WooHoo!! My best find was 3 young women that had been out drinking all night were having a huge sale, loads of clothes and purses, on a sunday. I went and bought some stuff as I was walking to my car it began to rain, a very cold bitter rain. I went back and asked them if they would sell me the entire lot. They said $50 and it's yours. I sold one of the D&B bags on Ebay for over $100 and I had clothes from a 22 to a 16. I am finally totally out o the clothes from that sale, and starting to need new things again. I need to hit somemore garage sales next weekend. ~Mandy

If you guys all love the old cartoons, like I do, you MUST get Boomarang. It is a catoon network channel and it is great. I just watched Pink Panther. Every night they have old Tom and Jerry, Space Ghost, Help! It's the hair bears, all the classics. Call the cable or satelite company and DEMAND it!!! We totally love it. ~Mandy

I am one that had decided to leave LBT. I was here today because someone told me that things had actually calmed down and that the problem members had been suspended. Then I read that my and Jessiebears leaving will NOT be a great loss. I tend to disagree, I didn't leave in defense of anyone, I left becuase there was so much anger here that is wasn't suportive anymore. It is rude and uncalled for to say that the people that are leaving will be no great loss, I happen to think I gave great support and have many friends here, as dose Jessie. Didn't you learn that if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all? ~Mandy

I came here almost 2 years ago and joined 18 months ago. I have made friends here, I have felt safe here. I posted pictures of my family, my fat and my progress here. (I have deleted all my pictures) In the past few weeks I have lost the feeling of "safe" here. The fighting, name calling, and bickering has become too much for me to deal with. I was out with a friend and I excused myself to the ladies room. I saw myself in a full length mirrow for the first time in over a year. There was a thin woman staring back at me with her jaw dropped open. I can't believe how much my body has changed. I have gone from MO to normal in 12 months!!!! Huge NSV for me, also huge mental step, I saw what was really there. I was starting to think I would need counseling to see what everyone else was seeing. I saw it yesterday. WooHoo for me. Abigale seemed to fair pretty well today. Our day started at 4:30am and didn't end until after 10pm. We were downtown most of the morning into the afternoon. She really opened up and let them see the issues that we face everyday. I really think that this test will help us to make some progress. I won't have results for 3 weeks but that is ok, we are in God's hands for those 3 weeks. Thanks for the prayers, please keep them coming. ~Mandy

I thought he had already ben charged with kiddie porn in CA. I thought he broke probation and that is what they were looking for him for. The probation was about the child porn charge. I will see if I can find the link. ~Mandy

I wonder if he will be charged with interfering with an investigation? I know that it took time and money to get a warrant, to get him back to the states, then to Boulder. I also know that others have been charged with something similar for holding up an investigation. I thought he had other warrants against him, that's why he was overseas. ~Mandy

My biggest problem with freecycle are no shows. I just listed 3 huge garbage bags of clothing, nice stuff, and 4 people said they were coming and never came. I waited forever, and they never came or emailed, no further contact. Then the woman that finally came was just rude. I even helped load them into her car and she never thanked me. I would have at least said thans for the help, even if not for the clothes. People, bleech...~Mandy

Ok, I need prayers for my daughter again. I asked everyone to keep her in your prayers last fall and I am back again. As many know, and some may not last fall my daughter was diagnosed with seizures and they are not sure what is causing them. She sees an entire medical team, neuro, peds, psych, counslor, the school psycologist, you name it we see them. Well tomorrow I need extra prayers, they are doing a complete psych evaluation with cognative functions and some other test that will help us understand her learning disorder. She suffers from anxeity, depression and now the seizure meds are causing her to gain weight, we are working on that on thursday. But tomorrow we are going to UIC, (that is where I had my weightloss surgery) they will be testing for aspergers syndrome, and other learning challenges. For right now she is in a regular classroom, but these test could change all of that. These test will show us her ability to take in information and they will be able to test how she processes that information. Hopefully they will be able to help us teach her in a way that she can learn and actually retain and understand what we are trying to teach. My family needs your prayers, the doctors that are working on all of these children need your prayers, please remember my Abigale tomorrow and the doctors in the comming weeks as that is when the information will be reviewed.
