Kat, we had a local sport bike guy get flagged down last week. He thought there was something wrong on his bike. The people that flagged him down were waving and pointing at his bike. He pulled over and thought they were pulling over to help him. One of the guys pulled a gun and stole his bike. It was found later the same night wrecked. He had lo-jack installed, that's the only way they found it. The guy that stole it was hurt and hiding in a garbage can. Crazy world we live in huh? ~Mandy

Debra, That is exactly what I was doing, choking at night. For me it was reflux. I take prevacid OTC, and had a slight unfill. I am soooo much better now. Keep us updated...~Mandy

I will be at Walt Disney World in Spet, from the 14th thru the 24th. Anyone want to get together for lunch? I will not have a car but can meet at DownTown Disney pretty much any day. There will be a few of us visiting at that time. I know of 2 other bandsters that will be there during our trip. ~Mandy

I was told as long as it didn't cause ulcers, I could take it. So nothing in the N SAID catagory. (aleve, advil, asprin) I am fine with tylenol and gas-x. If I have a question I ask my pharmacist if the medicine will hurt my stomach. ~Mandy

Hi all!! I got in a great workout. Hubby and I trimmed all the trees that were hanging over our fence. There was no grass growing in the backyard due to lack of sunshine. Today's labor will make that better. I have a stack of branches 6 feet tall in my backyard that have to be bundled and put to the curb for trash day. Then while we were working the neighbor (she's older and 90% deaf) came out and started working in her back yard, it was as shady as ours. I felt sorry for her and offered to help her out. She gladly accepted and we went into her back yard and started trimming there too. We realized it was all the same tree blocking out sunshine. I got the ladder and up I went with the power saw, let's just say the tree had a major makeover. I got a good workout and was able to help a neighbor. I also have sunshine for my backyard. I am sooo tired. We had hotdogs for dinner. I managed to eat one (no bun) and I'm stuffed. I took a shower and I'm ready for bed. Oh before I did all this, I changed the sheets on the beds and washed the stuff I took off. I also went to sam's club and shopped today. Night all, Mandy

Amelia, I am so sorry that you are still going through all this. If there is ANYTHING I can do please let me know. I will do anything I can to help out. Even if it's just someone to talk to, I'm here I will PM you my number. My daughter Abi is having some issues right now too. She is having severe nose bleeds, and they are going to do surgery on the 5th. I am going to get my mom to keep her so I can come to lunch with you guys. I'm sure by then I will need a break. Kat, Abi's last day will be the 5th. She only goes half a day so she really isn't missing much. We have graduation the 2nd and the big end of year fieldtrip on the 30th. It's a zoo trip, we are going but in our own car. I don't want to be stuck at the hot zoo with a bleeding child, if I have my car I can leave if needed. And if all is going well we can stay as long as we want. (well until the zoo closes anyway) Then we can grab lunch at a great little burrito place near the zoo. It costs me a whole $4 for both Abi and I for lunch,we share a steak and guac burrito and still have to toss some of it in the trash. I really don't know or want to know how they can stay open and make a profit with what they charge. We are also having a graduation party, and I offered to bring the cake. I ordered a luau themed cake that says congrats grads, and also Happy Birthday Abi. We are having a luau party for the kids, that sounds like fun. Fri I see the surgeon about my laporoscopy and possible hystorectomy. I'll be so glad to have the pain gone. My mom is in Mexico right now, but she will be home to help us recover if needed. It's already hot here, it was 90 today. But will be in the 50's tonight. Gotta love Chicago weather. If not stand still it WILL change. LOL. ~Mandy

Patty, I'm glad you got to see the kids and they are fine. Do you think they would be a good help to you? I know that my niece that is 15 is a great help around the house when she NEEDS to be. Chrispy, I still think you are smokin'. You look FAB!!!. We went to the ear nose and throat doctor again today. Abi's nose is still bleeding, we can't seem to get it stopped for any period of time. She is schedualed for surgery on the 5th of June. They are going to electro cautrize in her nose and also get a better look around in there. We went for lab work today and they had to do a bleed time test. Basically they cut her and then times how long it took her to stop bleeding. She was so brave, we had milk shakes for lunch. I could have used a mixed drink but had a cone instead. I have to try to control the bleeding until the 5th. It is really wearing me down, between having to keep her calm and all the cleaning/laundry. I'll pop back in later with an update. I've got to decide on supper. ~Mandy

Morning all, I spent the weekend painting. My living room is done. I did 3 walls almond and one dark chocolate. It looks sooo cool. The walls were hospital white when we moved in and we haven't painted because the window needed replacing and we knew that was going to happen this spring. I didn't want to have to paint twice. I also painted a room in my entry way dark chocolate, the other walls in the entryway and hall will ba almond, I'll do those this week. My next project will be the kitchen...I bought a fun bright orange (think tangerine) for the kitchen. I can't wait. Abi's room was painted right after we moved in, she hated living here so we let her pick paint and we painted her room bright yellow and rose pink, it looks nice but I'm sure she will outgrow it quickly. The window looks great with the new paint. I will take pictures when all the paint supplies are out of the way. I have a dentist appt today, just a cleaning, but I am sure he will find something else to do. I take care of my teeth but it's been a while, so I'm sure I'm due for an issue. My surgeon Dr Lahmann at Silver Cross took me as a patient and he didn't do my band. I know that they do take outside patients. Might be worth a call. I got his name and number from Inamed so I know he is properly trained with Inamed bands. If you want more info I'll be happy to get it for you. ~Mandy

Patty, I agree about the jello, it was a God send. I ate jello, and egg drop soup without the eggs. When you call ask if you can have cream soups (the healthy ones). I also ate pureed wendy's chili. I was on soft food by day 7. ~Mandy
