That would last me about a month. How is the 300 year celebration? I'll have to try that. Regular Earl grey has no citrus, just black tea and bergamot. Really warm and tasty. The Lady grey has the citrus in it, but is very very light. ~Mandy

Right now I'm hooked on Twinnings lady grey. It's an earl grey with a dash of citrus. I also love black current tea. My girlfriend just got me some died hybiscus flowers, they make great tea too. I always have a few twinnings packets in my bag, and several more in my car. A dash of cream and some splenda and I'm in heaven. ~Mandy

Ok so tomorrow at noon? Oak Brook Panera. If anyone needs directions just let me know. ~Mandy -
Also check out stevia, it is a natural calorie free sweetner. I get it at trader joes in a parmasean cheese type container. It takes about half as much as splenda and taste really good. ~Mandy
-
Splenda also come in a kool-aid type packet. Perfect to sweeten a pack of kool-aid, or a gallon of iced tea. I personally live on hot tea, I have become a tea snob. If I go out and order hot tea and it's a cheapie brand, I break out my gourmet stuff from my purse. ~Mandy

Sonia, I swear all we did was eat. It was 11 days of food. By day 6 all I wanted was coffee and cackers. I am sooooo sick of food. Never thought I would say that. Really good food, just way too much of it. I also spent 11 days in the sun, with little or no sunscreen and didn't even really get tan. I got some sun on my face and a little bit on the very top of my head. I was so careful with Abi, she got 50spf several times a day. I was lucky to remember my sunscreen chapstick for myself. Guess that's how it goes. I wasn't able to get in the pool because part of my hysto incision came back open, so I had to pack and clean it several times a day. Dave and Abi got in the pool a few times, and used that time to rest, and one day to do laundry. The incision is almost completly better, think that will help my case for the skin removal? It was right in the fold of skin. Now I am just having to keep it clean and dry. I took tons of pictures, I will bring my laptop to lunch so you guys can see. ~Mandy -

I have friends that work there and there ARE cameras everywhere. An elderly woman (87, natural causes) died in Pirates of the Carribbean last year and the paramedics were already there and waiting when her boat came to a stop at the end. The cast member saw her slumped over and called for help. They watch for people getting out of the cars and also for people standing up. It's not recorded, just monitored. They also have weight sensors in almost all of the floors, so if you step out of a ride car you trigger an alarm. ~Mandy -
My insuance will only pay for fills with flouro (barium) so that is the only way I have them done. I am usually not sore after being adjusted, it's just a simple stick. ~Mandy

Hi and welcome to all the new Chicago friends. I hope you will all consider joining us for lunch at Oak Brook Panera. Sat the 29th around noonish? ~Mandy -
Hi all!!! I'm home. I have spent the last 11 days walking my butt off. I managed to eat everything in WDW and not gain any weight. We had a horrible flight home, but the trip was just about perfect. Abi got to meet Captain Jack Sparrow, and she whispered to him that he was HOTT and he was her boyfriend. He actually blushed, and said " thanks for the confession love" She was in heaven. Then he leaned down and said he was going to tell her a pirate secret and he gave her a kiss on the cheek. She is still talking about that!! I have to admit he is HOTT!!! We did the pirate tutorial and he pull Abi out of the crowd to sword fight with him. She loved every second of it. We also gathered a pretty large collection of Stitch pins, and Stitch stuff. Abi says he understands how she feels, she wants to be good but it's hard. Over all a great trip. I will post more later, with some pictures. For now I need a nap. Happy belated Patty and Betty. ~Mandy

I will be on a plane this time next week. Make sure you all look to the sky and wave...~Mandy -
Patty, I am so sorry about the job. I know that can be hard. I left a job that I LOVED because of the new business owners (one of which is my MIL). I cried for weeks about it. My co-workers were my family. I left in May and had my band in July. I was still fighting the INS company when I quit. It was hard but things got better. Have you considered getting Social Security for the kids? They would qualify due to medical issues. Abi qualifies but Dave makes too much money. But you being a single mom, and having 3 kids with medical issues, would qualify. I would look into it. My friend gets $1200 a month for her son (he's bi-polar) and it really helps. You can get the application online at the social secuity website. I would look into that. Remember we are here for you, and eating is NOT going to make you feel better. ~Mandy

BensonRN, get a copy of your insurance requirements. Use it as a checklist. Make sure everything is submitted, and wait for the response. It's a royal pain to wait, but worth every second of it. You have found a great group of bandsters, the Chicago girls rock. You should also try to come to our next lunch we have a great time. If you have questions feel free to PM me. ~Mandy -

Sherry, I LOVE the big rides. I am sooo sad that Rock N' Roller Coaster will be closed when we are there. That is my all time fave. I guess we will just have to do tower or terror a million times instead. Abi also loves the big rides. She was so mad at us when she was too short to ride splash mountain. It took her 2 days to talk to us again, and then all she said was you guys are mean. I think I liked the silent treatment better. Well this year she is tall enough to ride everything, and we are sooooooo excited about it. I took some cute pictures of her last trip doing a thumbs up by the height requirement sign, for the rides she was finally tall enough for. She rode everything, and loved it. Let me know if you need any ride tips or info. Also remember there is a chicken exit on all most all of the rides, so you can still hang out with Chrispy in line and then just ditch out last minute. My mom does this all the time. Also you guys HAVE to ride Soarin', watch the Finding Nemo musical, and I believe Beauty and the Beast is a must. ~Mandy

What's the last thing you said to your surgeon just before your LB procedure?!

That's funny Juli, I did have to write lapband on my belly before sugery. I wrote it and the surgical nurse signed it. ~Mandy -
Patty, I love build a bear. I have the new dino, he is sooo cute. All fun green and fuzzy. Abi wanted the Ghost and I told her if she went to school with no tears and no pants wetting issues we would go get him. Well we got one friday afternoon. Our first week back at school was so good. I'm going job hunting as soon as we get back from Disney. I wanna work! I can only clean the house so much, and then I'm bored and eating.....ugh! We went to the store today, had to have groceries. I love Aldi, anyone else go there? Today I got a marinated turkey breast, and it's going on the grill for supper tonight. It was $6, and all I have to do it cook it. ~Mandy
