9 months before and after pic

Amazing results!! You look fantastic and younger. Way to kick the sleeves @ss!! -
I would advise you get clearance from your doctor. Remember you just went through major surgery. Walk before you run, you have a lifetime to focus on fitness.
-
Remember it's very important to follow the 60/60/60 rule. 60 grams of protein. 60 ounces of water. 60 minutes of working out. At the beginning walking is fine.

Vitamin works great. Well worth the $$$

I started at 48, and 4 weeks out I'm wearing a 44, (dropped 2 sizes). I can put on a 42, but still a little tight. Amazing results so far. Congrats on your success!!

Did anyone keep a book?
J.Diesel replied to Fit2btied's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I started an excel workbook. Tab 1: 1) track weight loss per month versus my forecasted goal 2) track weight loss per week versus my forecasted goal 3) track BMI and current BMI ratings 4) track chest, arm and waist measurements per month versus my forecated goals 5) I chart via a contol charts to see if I'm loosing to much or gaining weight, so I can change what I eat to prevent any additional shifts. I'm a 6-sigma Black Belt geek. Tab 2: 1) track my clothing size per month versus my forecasted goals Whatever method you use, make sure you like tracking via that method or you might stop tracking. -
This is fine. Do you add any flavor to your shaved ice?? I love shaved ice too, but add a lime flavor to it. Amazing!!

I advise you to wait, bacon is not a soft food.

Just remember why you started this new journey. 1) become healthy 2) loose weight 3) etc Your mind is a your strongest ally and enemie at the same time. Train it to stop thinking about food the way you used too. Only you can break the bad habits!! Best of luck

help I need solutions to solving my chocolate cravings
J.Diesel replied to joanne2013's topic in Food and Nutrition
I agree, very good...if you don't mind dark chocolate. -
Definitely gets better. I'm 4 weeks out and it has gotten better every week. Plus loosing weight makes it easier to get around!!

Should be okay as long as it wasn't red or purple flavored. Those are a no no before surgery. I also had to do citrus magnesium for bowl prep the day before. You definitely need to inform your surgeon to be on the safe side.

Walmart or Local grocery stores.

Remember 30 min before and 30 min after you eat.

Very normal. All of us experience this as we are human. I stopped being nervous once I woke up from the anestsia. Trust the research you've done in this procedure and selecting your surgeon.

will my brain catch up to my weight loss?
J.Diesel replied to diana89131's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Amazing results so far...all of us understand the security blanket of keeping old clothes, buying the same size as before surgery. The hardest obstacle is our minds. Free yourself from this and you'll be amazed by your results and will motivate you even more to continue loosing weight and knock down even more obstacles. -
21/2 weeks out and vomiting
J.Diesel replied to Kathy8429's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It could be that you ate to much...Call your sugeon, better to be safe than sorry. -
Help! If I loose 8 more lbs on the pre-op diet I will be below a 30 BMI. Can I still have the surgery?
J.Diesel replied to krystalherrington's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
If you were approved aleady, I see no reason why they would reject. Insurance companies understand that surgeons will put patients on pre-op diets to aide with the surgery. I wouldn't be concerned. -
