Surgery in 11 days not so sure I want to do this!
J.Diesel replied to soonerorlater's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You must tell yourself if you’re doing this for the right reasons, if you have doubt about eating the foods that made you how you are today; you are DEFINITELY not mentally ready for this surgery!! You should fully commit (mentally) to this change in becoming a healthier you. I truly do not miss any of the foods that Made me a FAT UNHEALTHY MAN!! This surgery was an aide to help me become a healthier me, that means eating healthier…and no more fad diets for me…Eating healthy and working out is the right approach. I hope you can truly commit to this awesome new way of living, because you’ll love the amazing results once you are committed both mentally and physically!! If you cannot commit this isn't the right approach for you!! -
Very cool having a trainer that trains special ops!! The workouts must be amazingly intense. I bought both sets (Insanity and T25) a couple months ago…so I could switch off once I completed a program. I just ordered “you are you own gym” from Amazon, so I can also include in my workout regimen. I'm set for 25 weeks at a time. Extremely pumped and excited!! 1) Insanity (Program 1 ) 9 weeks ( 6 days a week) 2) T25 (Program 2) 5 weeks (6 days a week) 3) You are you own Gym (Program 3) 10 weeks (4 days a week) After 25 weeks, I'll let my body rest for 2 weeks then start the 25 week regimen again!!

I can see once you get yourself into a workout regimen and you miss a day or so…it can get to you. I just started my program and I crave the next workout and I rather have this new addiction versus my food addition I used to have. I would imagine that 10k in 95 temps is doable as long as you keep yourself hydrated. When I walk or bike I like doing it outdoors as living in the Midwest the workouts in the winter are spent indoors. Good luck with your workout during your vacation…BTW, I need to pick up that DVD you mentioned, sounds good.

My Insanity updates… Day 4: (10/17) Cardio Recovery - 40 minutes of intense strength-training Day 5: (10/18) Pure Cardio – 55 minutes of EXTREME cardio…this was CRAZY Intense!! Day 6: (10/19) Plyometric Cardio Circuit – 42 min of lower body cardio Day 7: (10/20) Much Needed REST DAY!! (Completed and survived week 1)!! Day 8: (10/20) Cardio Power & Resistance – 40 min of upper body strength-training Day 9: (10/21) Pure Cardio - – 55 minutes of EXTREME cardio, getting a little easier, the 2nd time around Day 10: (10/22) Plyometric Cardio Circuit - 42 min of lower body cardio This morning Day 11: (10/23) Cardio Recovery – 33 min of lower intense workout I wanted to add a few more miles to my month total… (Total Miles: 115 - 725 Total Squats), but I am to beat with this workout to even consider doing any additional walking or biking!! Hopefully in month 2, I’ll have the energy to do both.

Stopped losing weight (and even gained) only 2 weeks after surgery - normal?
J.Diesel replied to SleeveFox's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
This is normal and very frustrating. This does go away, continue with your plan. Look up previous post on stalls, especially the dreaded 3rd week stall.
