Hi looby Lou Well done that's fab on your loss. 17 pounds in 10 days is excellent. I've lost 13 pounds so far. And 6 pounds pre op so 19 altogether. Bit dissappointed as i thought I would lose a lot more

Good luck.... Feel for u.. I was a nervous a wreck the night before and on thecday. Didn't stop crying for s second. Just kept thinking I was going to die but I made it and I'm 9 days out and carrying on with life as normal. Back at work Dropping n picking kids from school. Even went shopping. Didn't think I was going to recover so fast

Sleeved 7 days ago. On liquid diet for 2 weeks and then I have to move onto custard style food.for 2 weeks and then pureed food for another 2. The thing is as the days draw nearer I'm getting scared to death of food. I know I shouldn't but I'm stepping on the scales daily and seeing a pound of here and two of here and I'm really enjoying it. When I start eating food I'm thinking this is going to stop . I dont know how much I'm going to be able to eat but I'm scared that I'm Just going to carry on and not realise I'm full unless it's that bursting feeling of omg I'm Going to be sick if I eat any more so I had better stop. I have not been hungry once in last 7 days . My fear is the greedy monster inside me is going to return. I just want to stay on liquids

Hey I felt like that too but I spoke to the nurse and she said to me I'm not drinking enough fluids / protein hence why I feel lethargic. From that day on I upped my water / juice/ slimfast intake and I feel 100 percent better now

Omg I am dying today. I am 6 days post op and had no movement so I tried suppository. Has worked slightly but it has made me even sore now in other departments. The wounds the gas the pain is non existent.. Just this problem now.

I paid privately. All paper work sent to me sAod avoid using straws but the hospital gave me a straw every time. Weird???

Had op on Thurs 19th Sept and don't feel like going . Have no pains or urges. Shall I just let nature take it's cause or should I buy some stuff from chemist. Sorry I know it's too much info but really looking for advice.

Hey I was sleeved on 19th sept in uk. Came home After 2nights and felt ok.. Just slightly sore. Yesterday was a bad day. I had terrible terrible back pain. Unsure if it's because of the gas or because I been lying down alot. This morning back a bit better but I have no energy in my arms or legs to move. Is this normal?

Hi looby Lou. Glad to hear your feeling better. I'm feeling worse than yesterday. Back pain is out of this world. Never suffered so much. I'm wondering if it's gas or it really is back pain or is it because I've not moved around alot

I'm feeling bit better. Got home today. Still Sore & can't move much. I'm Worried about when I will do a poo. I know it's TMI but I forgot to ask Lorna before I left

Indigo my surgeon is Andrew de beaux Loobylou.. Why a gastrophy? Yeh I've had all the weight bloood pressure urine check ECG .. Legs measured for socks and mrsa test today. I've not lost much on pre op diet. So far 3 kilos. Suppose still have 2 more days to lose maybe another kilo I hope.

I am sitting in waiting room Now as we chat . Here for tests. Hope everything is fine and op is ok to go ahead for Thursday. What do you weigh? I'm 112 kilos
