Hi I was just wondering for people who have insurance does the insurance pay for the fills after surgery or is that out of pocket I have blue cross blue sheild new england, and is also how many people are going to Mexico to get the lap band done do that many insurance companies not pay for the procedure.

I was just wondering does anyone notice that their port is sticking out far I don't think I would want the band sticking out so far that it is noticable let me know.

I was just wondering is their any special precautions you have to take if you are going to get any type of surgery done after you have the lap band done, and also do all medications pill form have to be switched to liquid form just thinking long term.

Hi everyone just looking for people who have been umass in worcester ma I would like to talk to someone who has already been banded and what their experience was bad or good.

Haven't been banded yet but I am done with all my requirements pre surgery and it has been about 5 months so far I just have the consultation with the surgeon then my surgery will be scheduled I am going thru u-mass worcester.

Hi is anyone out there from the worcester ma area I an going to be banded by Dr. Czernicah soon has anyone had any experiences with him good or bad. I am really excited about this an I hope it will finally be a way to keep off my lost weight. Just a little concerned how it will be when I'm an old lady I don't think insurance will pay to take it out.
