  1. Unjury is the BEST. I buy unflavored mixed it with water and crystal light. Yummy!!!
  2. Am down 43 pounds. I have NOTHING to wear to work. I cleaned out my closet and now it is full of empty hangers. I had a wedding to go to last weekend and had to wear my smallest pair of slacks that I could still pull up and down with unzipping them. I girded em up with a belt and wore a loner shirt that was also too big. On the way home I told my husband that I couldn't go home without a few shirts and at least one pair of pants. So we went shopping. It is weird to shop when you have no idea what size you are. I gravitated toward the plus sizes but knew I couldn't wear them. I saw a few things I liked but discarded them because they looked to small. Finally I tried one if the shirts I thought was too little and it was too big. Crazy. I now own 1 pair of pants, 5 shirts, 3 pairs of panties and a bra. I guess I will be doing laundry more frequently. Lol.
  3. I only told my husband first. He was worried about me and wanted me to tell my sister. My sister guilted me into telling my son. She wanted me to tell my mom which I did after surgery. Only 4 of my closest friends at work know and my best friends outside of work. If I could wave a magic wand and do do overs I wouldn't tell a single soul.

    November buddies where are you?

    I was sleeved 11/15/13 and am down 42 pounds. I eat around 800 calories a day. I am losing around a pound a week. I walk at least 7 miles a week. I keeps protein between 50 and 80 grams and keep carbs less than 50. I wish I could loose faster but I guess I am a slow looser. I am in onederland and that part is amazing. Best decision I ever made!!!
  5. I had a couple of sips one month out. I am now 4 months out and had a shot of Baileys on ice a few days ago. It was so good!!! I didn't feel drunk at all but it was very warm to hot in my tummy. Won't do it very often cause I don't need the carbs and calories.

    Onederland!

    Thank you everyone. Not quite ready for after pics. I still have a long journey to travel. It is nice to know you all are with me.

  9. A couple of days ago I bought a size 16 pants down from a 20. And I bought my first non plus size shirt in 10 years. Happy day!!!!

    Protein water?

    I love Unjury unflavored. I add 1 scoop to 20 oz of water and add a Crystal light stick to it. It packs a protein punch of 20 grams and it taste like what ever flavor you put in it! Sometimes I add powdered non thickening fiber to it too. You have to order it online from Unjury.com. I drink one every day to help me reach my protein goal.
  11. It was great today to get on a plane, sit down and put on my seat belt without worry that I could fit in the seat and if the seat belt would buckle. Love, love, love it!!!!
  12. I am 2 months post op. I have lost 30 pounds. I eat what ever I want only in very small quantities. I log every bite I eat into myfittnesspal.com. I usually don't eat more than 700 calories a day. I usually walk at least one mile a day. I have no pains and no problems. Most everyday I eat three small meals, eat a very small snack and drink a Protein drink. I don't think I am losing as fast as most people but I am losing. My surgeon is amazing!! I didn't have a catheter, I didn't have drains of any kind no problems. I highly suggest not eating anything for 10 days preop, only drinks and Protein shakes. It makes your recovery so much easier.   14. I only eat 3 specific times a day and usually not more than 4 or 5 oz. sometimes in the evening I eat 1/2 carb master yogurt from Kroger. I also only eat 800 calories or less a day. I use myfittnesspal and log every bite I put in my mouth and I walk at least 1 mile a day. Even doing all that I average only about 2 pounds a week. I think keeping track of what you eat is the key. Grazing and sliders will get you. I also try to get between 60 and 80g of Protein and keep my carbs under 50g. I used unflavored unjury and mix it with Water and crystal light. Hope that helps.   15. I am 6 weeks out and I eat anything I want just not much of it. Chicken and fish are my friend but steak doesn't like me. My staple food is very lean homemade chili. Super high in protein and very filling. I can eat about 1/2 cup. I also use Unjury everyday to get in my protein. Blessings to you.
